I guess I am the last remaining person carrying a Windows phone but I like them. That said they are obviously dead and I need to start thinking about what's next. Should I head to Apple/iOS or Choice/Android? Any thoughts from BBBville?

I use the Samsung for no other reason that I don't use any Apple products at this time, thought it would be easier a few years back to come out of my flip phone era, with an android. I works fine for what I use it for, mostly a phone, a camera, and google maps LOL

I have both. Android for personal and iPhone for work. I much prefer almost everything about the android. I would never buy an iPhone. Is easier for work.

Photos and battery life are better on iPhone

I disagree with my esteemed colleagues. I have become an APPL wh*re....If you use any APPL device, its beautiful - the seamless tethering....you cannot beat their customer service. I missed my Blackberry years ago, but now couldn't imagine life without my iPhone.

83 y/o DMIL is hooked on the iPhone we got her a couple years ago. Got her an iPad for Christmas and she loves them both. Very intuitive devices for people who might not think of themselves as "computer savvy."

    Good luck in the decision!

Android will have the closest user experience - and can be modified further - to the Windows phone.

I am still looking for more apps for my black rotary dial phone. Wait there is a princess phone with night light. Yes?

There is no doubt that the iPhone is a marvelous piece of technology. I'm just concerned about Apple's 'My Way or the Highway' proprietary philosophy. Cables that only work on their devices, refusing to allow an µSD card slots, etc. I'm commited to Windows 10 on the PC and tablet. Can I make them work together? I've been reading about MS apps on iOS. Maybe?
