Yes a good article I am that rat that would eat the cookies! But as that rat I found if I just make a rule that changes that cycle of night time eating and fight it like a battle of my worse enemy it works for the most part. It's like if I don't win and eat a simple bag of popcorn the BINGE wins and 2000 calories later I feel like crap, and the next day all I can say to myself is WHY! I really don't want to be in that LAB rat category. I'm human a little higher up the evolutionary chain right?2

Good read. I, also, am the rat that would eat the cookies!1

I'm the rat that will ignore the cookies for a week, and then eat all the cookies, buy more cookies, and eat all of those too. I definitely can't have junk food in the house without it being a huge binging risk.2

@branbuds I see you found it. I think many of us have this issue. This is one that I also believe men and women both share. I realize men and women have different issues with calories and weight loss but this one is universal for the sexes. @moxies42 funny ... I do stop at going to the store on a BINGE but would definetly try and find every cookie even if my wife hides them for herself! She learned there's a fat rat that comes out at night when shes asleep! I just haven't told her it me but I think she on to me.2

Lol! Just blame the dog. Dogs love cookies!
I know what you mean though- I've often been on those late-night snack hunts. I feel like Liam Neeson. "I WILL find you...and I WILL eat you." And if I haven't prepared by having something in the house...the hunt will go allllll the way to the store.
