I'm looking for friends, advice and support.
104kgs - lost 10 so far - started with a personal trainer in a gym which is great and just got back in the pool and want to make it a habit - twice or thrice a week. Managed 14 lengths of my local 33m pool and I used to be able to do 40 at an admittedly very 'stately' pace. I'm not a good swimmer - I can do breaststroke reasonably (I think) and not a lot else! The swimming is good for heart and soul in any event.

Welcome! You're definitely in the right place! You will find you are among friends here. All abilities, all speeds welcome I'm in the "stately" set, as you so aptly described, but the part about swimming feeding the heart and soul is a point we all agree on here, no matter what stroke or how fast or slow we do it.1
