Hello!
Tommorrow i will start IF and keto. I have done previously IF and felt great and lost 23 pounds in 6 month eating cake!
Now i really need to lose lot of weight as i am 200 pounds at only 5'1".
I decided to give a go to keto as i read a lot and convinced me and i don't last in de standar diet.
I will start 16:8 trying to reduce to finally 20:4 and stay around 1500ish. I will train 5 days a week (litle by litle, i am in very bad shape
I need help in two areas;
1) I see lovely keto recipes around, even bread and keto cake. However in this first fase while i am getting into it i need a very simple meal plan that help me get my fat without over complications and i can keep repeating. Standar ingredients and easy cooking. Does any of you have one that can pass me? Even if it needs a few tweaks.
2) i need motivation. Have any of u lost 85 pounds? Can u tell me about ur experience? How long it to u?
Thank u everyone! And add me as a friend pleaseee

I've lost 172 lbs so far. The first 50 were on SAD and took about 8 months. Then I switched to low-carb / keto, and lost the next 120 lbs in about 9 months. I work out (cardio) every single day. Sometimes twice a day if I'm feeling energetic.
I also do IF, typically 16:8 but that wasn't a specific decision, it's just my natural state. I was doing IF before LCHF, and before I even knew it was called IF.
As for my experience, I've found this way of eating to be the only sustainable 'diet' that works for me. There's no hunger, I'm not constantly craving things I shouldn't have.
I do treat myself now and then, maybe once a month I will have a carb-heavy meal, but those are consious deliberate decisions (eg. meeting a friend for sushi) rather than caving in to a craving or momentary weakness.

I successfully eliminated 167 pounds. It took me 22.5 months to do that. Currently in maintenance. Here's a link to my profile with full details of the story if you are interested:
