Wow! So many people are doing so many great things, congratulations to you all.
Another good day today. Lots of exercise, started with a 45 minute run, followed by some gardening, cycling to get my veggies from the farm shop (not very far but down the main road I usually avoid) and some lower body strength.
Tracking was good and calories well under due to all the exercise.

How was the wedding ? As long as I am not paying for a wedding I love them. I keep telling my daughter she should just elope and have a party after. Lol She has grand ideas.
Today is go to my parents day and veggie man day.4 -

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 7.5km+ in 73 minutes (hills - my "twin peaks" walk (chandlers and one tree hills - did not seem as tough as last time I did it - yay).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
As @RangerRickL posted, you become a product of your environment. So shape your environment to become what you want to be. Those that support, but challenge you are the ones that make you grow. Sounds like this UAC group to me.

Checking in and off to bed, it's been a long one. I feel like each day is too long with a kid though.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Oh my gawd, yes. We decided to only use the bus in one direction today and walked for over an hour and a half. I logged a bit less just in case because most has been brisk but not all, but we've been walking back and forth all day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Ate just a bit under 1200, but burned over 400! Way within, it's been an awesome day.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yeps, I started adding my own foods and recipes to make sure I'm being as precise as possible. Logged the beer, pizza and every freaking bite I took from every little thing. Still looks great, thank you homemade food. I'm learning that if I just try something I though I wanted out (my poor boyfriend) I end up not really needing to eat the whole thing. Skipped on ice cream which I've never done before and didn't really crave it after a bite.
@aeshippers wow! I wish one day I'll be able to go out for a run like that, that's awesome!
@RangerRickL you're so on point with that quote! My bf finds it kind of ridiculous that I'm that exact this time around but has been awesome with his support, helps me calculate things when he's cooking and walks around with me even though he doesn't really need to go as fast or for as long.
And this challenge... Where have you been all for the past few months, I really wish I had found the group way earlier, it is soo inspiring to see everybody being so determined and following trough.

@penguinstuff - sounds like you are doing really well, congratulations
With regards to the running, I've only been doing it for about 2 1/2 months, prior to that I was walking and cycling. I've tried running many times in the past and not been successful but I think that because I built my fitness up in other ways first it just felt right this time. If I can get there, you can too.7 -
@penguinstuff good job adding all your own foods, I done that a while back and it really does make logging and keeping track much easier
NSV today yay!!!
My youngest son almost killed me!!
I had been wondering how to get to a little loch near where I live (no roads or official paths) I was running my son to his GF's house and he said come I'll show you where the wee loch is!! ... ooo an wee impromptu walk I thought ... so we stop the car and get out .. 1 mile later and we are back at the car .. the killing part ??
we walked it in 15 mins .. so I was averaging 4MPH and the terrain was up down muddy hills on a winding dirt path ... and I've walked at my fastest pace since re starting my fitness ... yay!!
June 3rd
Exercised?: Yes.Walked for 35 minutes on 2 separate walks (one at 3mph, with hubby and one at 4mph with son)

3 out of 3 .. feeling proud because I thought I would take today off as there was thunder and lightening making it very muddy outside ... but my impromptu walk and my NSV when out with my son got me moving6 -

Remembering a conversation I had with an acquaintance or colleague or the like on the last day of school. We were talking about mountains or the mountains we had in common. In Colorado they got mountains they call fourteeners. They are upwards of 14,000 feet. He was saying that he still has the ambition to climb fourteeners because his daughter is into it. I didn't ask about ages or anything like that but just roughly guess from his age that his daughter must be late HS or early college.
- But I brought up Mt Evans and asked if he had ever heard of it. Well yeah, he has. Turns out he goes there when I go there. We probably been there at the same time.
But he was telling me that him and his daughter climb Bierstadt and then cross over to Mt Evans. I didn't think about it at the time but I get to remembering what is in between Bierstadt and Evans. It is a formation called the Sawtooth.
I put a picture here of the Sawtooth just so you can get that I am kind of scratching my head in amazement.
- Bierstadt is that mountain kind of left of center. Now the other side of it has a gentler slope and I think that is how he said they go up. Taking this picture I am standing on Mt Evans. Now look what is in between what might be called a Sawtooth. That is what he is talking about having crossed with his daughter. Man o man! That is not in my imagination even on my most ambitious day. The other side of that Sawtooth isn't any prettier.
- I am going there in late July. I will sleep in a tent to get acclimated to the altitude. I will sit by a campfire and play a John Denver tune on an inflatable guitar.
- I will get up every day at the crack of dawn and go climbing before the tourists show up.
- I will eat corn on the cob and pitas stuffed with sour cream, veggies and hot dogs. Oh, and there is a restaurant pretty close. Wife likes eating there if she is grumpy cuz the rain put our fire out.
But yeah tomorrow is Orange Theory for an hour of exercise. It is pretty good.

I hope everyone had as great a day as I did. I was so worried about eating at my son's and being able to log everything properly because of it being a lot of dips and various chips. I brought a fruit and vegetable tray so that helped a lot in being able to keep me in check. I came in under calories, did not crave any dessert (had fruit instead) and really just enjoyed a great family day without using it as an excuse to overeat. I worked out before I left and that was another incentive to not overeat.

@pribud You are the most enthusiastic cheerleader of our team members!! Thanks so much!
My report:
This was my first 'real' summer Saturday. It was a high of 91 degrees F., or 32.7 degrees Celsius. In the early evening it was cooler. When I got up, I had a muscle knot from yesterday's workout. Fortunately, I got received electrical stimulation and laser treatment to lessen the tension and pain. After the treatment, I was able to go out on the farm and have an energetic day. Lots of walking; chores and more. No tracking of those exercise calories. In the evening, I road my brown and white pinto, Shae through our farm and out to the nearby prairie park and forest. 65 minutes of very active walk, trot and canter. This was the first day of 2017, that I gave a horse a bath before I had one!

Since I've started tracking my calories again and making sure to be more active, I'm already seeing changes in my energy level and weight. I'm amazed at how difficult it seems for me to stay on track when I stop logging. This challenge is helping me to stay focused on what I need to do each day.5 -
