I'm going to have to step out of the winners circle for the month. I've got the exercise minutes but haven't been able to track my calories the last couple of days. I'm spending all of my time prepping food for 400 people at youth conference. Tracking 3,600 meals is taking over my time
I'll do my best to get a good start on next month. The conference is next Thurs-Sat. and after that, I should have access to the computer.
I'm loving this challenge! My weight hasn't changed significantly but my friend noticed I was looking better. Yahoo!8 -
It's still raining here. I am glad I don't live in one of the flood areas. Just deciding on what to wear this weather is not making it easy. Till later have a great day!!

Day didn't start well today. Got my bike out of the garage in the pitch dark as usual and it felt strange, back tyre was totally flat, puncture . Too hard to fix that before work so had to change and get in the car.
I then realised that maybe it was meant to be as I still hadn't completed the hour long run goal I set myself for June so I did that at lunchtime and completed it. Also did 30 minutes on the exercise bike this evening.
Tracking and calories both ok.7 -
Update on the goals l set for June
1 Be in the winner's circle -achieved
2 Lose over 2kg - achieved, I weighed in at 2.9kg less today than 1st June
3 Do 30 push ups without stopping - failed, this one was too ambitious, can only manage 24.
4 Run for an hour - achieved today
5 Get my protein intake consistently over 85g - achieved, has been over 85g almost every day except when I've been eating out all day so not completely in control of my food.
So overall a pretty successful month for me8 -
June 30

Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Review of tracking for goals for this month:- Be in winners circle (track everything, keep under budget, 20+ mins exercise per day, no more than 3 pass days)
- Achieved - 0 pass days.
- Lose 2kg (MFP intake set at -0.5kg per week)
- Overachieve this one - 4.4kg weekly average weight difference between June 1 and June 30.
- Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month) and continue past failings (forgive mistakes and keep moving forward)
- I think I achieved this.
- Encourage others where possible
- @everyone, how did I score on this one?
@aeshippers. Well done on 60 min run. (and achieving most goals for the month).
@RangerRickL. Well done for listing self in winners circle. You are often too modest.
@everyone. For those who made the circle, well done. For those who fell short, but continued to track and exercise, well done too (it's harder to continue in those circumstances, and it is recognised and celebrated).
Looking forward to next month. Hope to see you all back.
7 - Be in winners circle (track everything, keep under budget, 20+ mins exercise per day, no more than 3 pass days)

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes3 -
Hi everyone, I am on board with having a successful finish to the day. Everything I plan on having is tracked and I still have over 200 calories to play with.
Exercise done! Resting the rest of the day. Just circulation exercises as the evening goes on.
@craigo3154 You NAILED your goal to encourage others' AWESOME JOB! Congratulations on meeting your other goals as well!
@RangerRickL GLAD TO SEE YOU WERE ADDED TO THE WINNER'S CIRCLE. I know it should have been there last month!
@am_change..........GREAT end to the month
@Slimpossible007 Congratulations on your June results! See you in July!
@shauna30 You are AMAZING! Hope your conference goes well!
@aeshippers What a successful June you had! All your hard work paying off
Had my check up with the surgeon and he is amazed at my progress. He reminded me today that I am only 2 weeks in to my surgery and still should be having a hard time doing things. Also I found out today that the recovery is a lot longer than I had anticipated. He will not even talk about a return to work approximate date until he sees me on Sept. 20th. I am also not allowed to lift anything for that whole time. That pre-op nurse that did my consult really needs some training on the processes of this kind of surgery as she had e back to work in 6-8 weeks, no restrictions from the time I leave the hospital and even told my husband I could vacuumm' within a couple of days. He did tell me I could go to the pool in another week as long as I just walk in the pool and I felt up to it. He disagreed with the stationary bike though.
Both love that I did a minimum of 20 minutes a day of some kind of exercise...lol
My goals for June
1. Maintain a positive attitude
2. check in here every day I CAN
3. stay FOCUSSED
4. Lose 2 lbs. (Reach the 25 mark )
5. Winners circle may be out of reach due to exercise but I will challenge myself to be there in my mind for calories and tracking.
I lost 3.8lbs. I believe I kept my positive attitude, checked in when I could and stayed FOCUSSED and hoping to make the winners circle! Another GREAT month!

Well here it is, our last day. I'll take my pictures and measures tomorrow. I don't create goals per session. For me, they are like New Year's resolutions, unattainable. But I do strive to do the best I can do for my mind and body. I fail and fall, but I just keep trying.
Thank you to everyone but for all the support this month. Looking forward to meeting our new friends and continuing forward you you amazing and inspiring people.
A yes for all 3 today.5 -
What awesome accomplishments! Congrats to all who made the winner's circle. @debodom1962 I have a similar perspective. My success this month has been to consistently go to the gym twice a week and do strength training. I have never gotten into the habit of doing any kind of strength training besides playing tennis or pickle ball. I am definitely feeling like a winner. Thanks team for being here. Love the support and encouragement. Anxious to start month #4 for me.3
-
No, yes, yes. But I still feel very successful!3
-
Have had spotty service and ability to post. Read through the posts from today and live seeing all these wonderful results. You all are seriously amazing and inspiring!
On track for me. Having a great time but will be much easier at home for eating and tracking.4 -
Today was not such a good day for me. I went to a potluck and I couldn't track everything I ate. Was on my feet a lot but can't be counted as exercise. So No,Not sure and No today !
Stepping out of the winner's circle.
But overall this month has been a huge success for me. I joined UAC just to see if I can actually stick to exercise and diet for a month and looks like I can ! One very important thing is the 3 pass days. They actually let me forgive myself and move on.
Lost 7.4 lbs this month went from 175.6 to 168.2. Initially I had no target then I fixed it at 170.
Lost 0.5 inches from waist and hips each.
From walking 30 minutes a day, I have now started walking 5 miles in 85 minutes. Overall a great month.
Target next month will be 163. Bought myself a new pair of dumbbells, will work on building muscle and increase my protein intake.
@everyone : Congrats on making it to the end of this month !
@winnerscircle : Well done ! I hope to join you in July
