I don't even know where to begin in sharing what I'm grateful for, so I'll keep it simple! I'm thankful for all of you, for your wonderful, inspirational posts, for the opportunity to experience this lifestyle change with so many encouraging people. And in spite of the many things that go "wrong" in my life on a day-to-day basis, I wouldn't change anything that has happened to me or anyone I have met. I'm grateful for so blessed a life!3 -

Day 6 - third and final pass day. Sigh - I had planned on being better, but this just means no wiggle room for the rest of the month.
I'm grateful I'm here on this planet to even worry about things like my health and well being! Life is good.3 -

Three yeses. Started to do a little running during my morning walks. Also got an extra 35 minutes at lunch.
So much to be grateful for. Two big ones stand out. Raising two daughters --- or any kids these days isn't easy. I am thankful for the solid choices my two have made.
My husband and my one daughter have some health issues. I am grateful our access to medical advancements and our insurance and the ability to pay. Not to say I haven't had my battles with insurance and pharmacies!!!4 -

July 6, 3 yesses. Tracking maybe a little slouchy but exercise was almost epic.
Got 3,500 of climb. Trying for 4,000 but I got kicked off the mountain by sheriff's deputies.
There was a little lightning sparked fire near the top. Kind of a nothing burger, they put it out with helicopters. I liked watching them. They were flying right over me hauling their bucket back and forth to the fire. I took video of it with my phone. You know how that is. I got one where they are pulling that bucket after kind of overfilling it. So they would fly by with it kind of leaving a stream of water. I thought it would be kind of cool if I was right under that stream. Bad idea when I figured out where they were getting that water from. Let's just say settling pond and be happy that there was water there. How is that for a gratitude item?
Anyway, good entertaining bike ride for upwards of 4 hours. Mixture of lollygagging, meander and some cardio.
Took some pics. I got a pic of a smoke plume rising from the top of the mountain but I like this aspen grove better. It is kind of a weird place. It is a closed picnic ground. I always like to walk through it as a break when I am on my big climb. Hasn't been open in a couple of years. Nice and quiet in there except if helicopters are going by. Good place for a snack and a long drink.
I got 30 mph descending on pavement. That was kind of fun. Mr Wizard gave me 2400 cals. Didn't eat them all.

Exercised?: Yes! Walking
Calories?: Yes!
Tracked?: Yes!
I passed on both chocolate covered macadamia nuts and chocolate cake at work! Chocolate and sweets have contributed quite a bit to my weight gain, so this was a major NSV for me!
I am grateful for so many things! My patient and loving husband is #1 on the list. He supports all my crazy ideas! I'm also grateful for the health of my father who is going on 89 y/o in October and is doing great! Right now I'm also grateful for my much needed health insurance, the friends I've made on MFP (one special one in particular), and this group which is helping me stick to a solid weight loss plan.3 -
