Vacation continues, on to the next city. Now staying with some friends who have a home gym. It felt so good to lift weights! So thankful for this group, the accountability has made it so much easier to stay on track with my eating.6 -

Yay to a successful week! Thanks to USC, I've accomplished something I haven't done in a long time!
I spent a couple of hours at the doctor this morning before work, getting an EKG and X-rays taken. Now he has me lined up to see a neurologist, a cardiologist, a pulmonary specialist, AND I'm starting physical therapy next Wednesday. Whoosh! He said if I give him three months, he'll have me all fixed. I almost asked him if he had a psychiatrist lined up for me too, but decided I better not. He just might have done it.
Three happy yeses for today! Have a great weekend everyone!6 -
Late check in for 7th as I was at a party last night.
Pass day #1
Fell off the wagon spectacularly yesterday before the party. Stress eating finally got the better of me and I suspect that trying to save some calories in the day for the evening didn't help.
Looking back on it from today I am taking the long view and this is the first truly bad day I've had in over 4 months which is awesome progress as I probably used to have one almost every week.
Did do my exercise though, cycled to work and went for a run at lunchtime.7 -

@pribud . Glad you're doing well and staying on track . I had major surgery last October and went off the rails after_ it had been pretty stressful. Had to go through it again in May but this time I'm focusing on getting and staying really healthy. Today I was able to swim for the 1st time in a while -felt great!
@Gus130 . Thinking of you and hope you're doing ok !
I really like this group and the mutual support and encouragement that goes on . It's helping me stay on track -if I wasn't doing this challenge I'd probably have had at least 1 day off by now - many social events at the moment, all involving food and drink!

@Gus130 : Glad to hear that you are doing good !
@RangerRickL : Wow ! Looks like you had a lot of fun
@craigo3154 : Birthday wishes to your sister ! Looking forward to pictures of Frazer island.
It was a not so good day for me. I exercised (30 minute dumbbell circuit) but I guess I ate too much.
I am from India and rice is our staple diet but it has so much carbs. Even if I eat one cup of rice I go over my calories. To add to it I had some friends coming over in the evening and it was kind of impolite not to eat. I ate healthy ( A snack made of chickpeas) and skipped the greasy stuff. End of day I was just under by 10 calories.
But this morning (July 8) I realised that I had forgotten to log a snack I had yesterday ( baby carrots and ranch) , about 70 calories. So in the end I am over by 60 calories and can't go back and exercise for yesterday
Calling it Pass Day 1. Have to get back on track today.

Sorry I'm super late! Had such a busy weekend!
Exercise: 50min dog walk along the estuary of the Mersey.
Kcl: 1459/1460 (I hit my weight loss goal, so recalculated to lose the next bit. Kcl only went down by 30 so I'm not struggling too much)
Tracked: yes0 -
Pass day 2
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No, had a special 5 course meal in a tram touring through town; a present from my wife, and the first meal we had with just the two of us since the birth of our daughter.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? No, the meal as a little too much of a hassle to log0
