Happiness is also an attitude. I need to be reminded sometimes that I can choose to be grumpy or I can choose to be happy.
Have a Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday!
Date: 9th July
Exercised?: Yes. 20 minutes walking on a treadmill Walked around the town a bit hunting out presents too
Calories: yup! Within my calories
Tracked: Yes5 -
Really busy day today. Started with an hour run. Didn't really feel like going this morning but forced myself and struggled to start with but was feeling really good by the end. Lots of laundry and gardening too. Didn't get much tree felling done as hubby broke his chainsaw (should be easily fixed) so more rose demolition and a bit of sheep and pig herding as we switched their paddocks.
Tracking yes and calories just under. Was really hungry when I came in out of the garden and didn't make the best food choices.7 -
Good morning everyone. Today is family reunion day where my husband's immediate and extended family gets together for a good old fashioned food fest lol. So I have to be super careful to not take Pass Day 2 since I'll be going on vacation Thursday - Sunday and will probably have to take a day there too. My plan for the day is a super light breakfast, enjoy food fest in moderation, and then a super light supper as I'll probably still be stuffed from the day. Lots of game playing and walking around too.
@RangerRickL one day at a time is how I've lived my life for a while now. I used to get so caught up in the future and so damned tragically mired down in the past that life was passing me by. Life is so much better living in the now!
Have a great Sunday everyone.7 -

90 minute walk with the puppy!

@aeshippers You have been going hard non stop with your exercise for a long while now. Maybe a rest day would do you more good than harm. Thoughts?2

Yes
Yes
and Yes, lol.
1223 calories burnt, 35 min jog, 35 min cross trainer and a nice walk with the woofies, not to mention a walk into town and back as daughter had an opticians appoint' today.
Only just under my 1200 calorie limit of 1199, lol - I bet I can't do that one again!
@RangerRickL - lovely sentiment.2 -

Exercise: 1 hour 25 min 6 miles trail run with the dog and 40 min yoga
Calories: Yes..under. Despite my hunger!
Tracked: Everything
30 day yoga challenge: 9 done
Miles: 31.5 for the month
Lesson learned: Find a decent fuel option to take on runs, maybe dried fruit or something. For some reason my blood sugar dropped 2 miles in. I eat oatmeal in the morning when knowing I'm going to run. I had a gel on me and took that to even out. Ended up finishing the 6 miles.
@trixsey1 EAT THAT CALORIE!!3 -
I almost used today as a pass day, rain pouring down miserable outside ... but instead ... my adorable youngest son fought into the shed for me and carried my spin bike into the house so that I could get my 20 mins exercise.
no excuses now !!
result is 3 yesses from me
20 mins exactly of spinning ... managing 7.8 miles

3 x yes. Got in 35 minutes of exercise, plus about 20 minutes cleaning. Doing well, feeling positive. However, I've been dealing with some dizziness the past two days. I'm sure it's nothing, but doesn't feel that nice. Enjoy your Sunday evening, all.1

Exercise?: 7-mile run this morning (60 minutes), plus the usual walking.
Plank?: Yes, before the gym again.
Calories?: Yes, with about 400 to spare.
Tracked?: Yes. I had a strong desire for chocolate in the afternoon, but the 864 calories burned during the long morning run meant that I could indulge a little bit.
So far, so good!6 -

Well done on this! I've heard it said the hardest part of any run is the distance between the doorway to the letterbox!conchita962 wrote: »July 9

Everyone is different but if this helps - my Flatmate was an ultra marathon runner. She used to fuel up beforehand with a tablespoon of peanut butter. For her energy during runs she actually ate boiled sweet potato0 -
Exercise: some intense cycling, an itsy bitsy run, light swimming, and an hour walk
Calories: under (if I counted right)
Tracked: we went out to dinner so it took a little guess work. Hopefully coconut daquaris are like coconut martinis and my steak frites were 500 cal and not 12001 -
Sunday July 9th.
Exercised - lots. Got 2 hour bike ride in, hour kayaking. About 1/2 of it was fighting against the tide and 1/2 paddling with it. The out of my comfort zone with 1/2 hour on a stand-up paddle board.
Under calories and tracked everything.4 -

Today is my first pass day.
I tracked everything but went over my limit of calories for the day. I caved to my cravings...a sweet tooth actually. Not going to beat myself up or give up. I will have to try something different if faced with the same cravings again. I read a suggestion to check the time when they hit and try drinking water or have a cup of hot tea and see if the craving passes. Give it a good 15 minutes. Will try this tomorrow. Night all!6 -
Despite family reunion, I did manage to keep in my range. It was almost too hot to eat. Played lawn bowling with the kids for about an hour for my exercise and I tracked everything.3

For me, today is what a Pass Day is designed to do. Our Canadian family did not get on the road until 3:30 pm and then we entertained an Indian couple and some long time friends from right near us. Shared cooking and a variety of dishes and some very good wine. I did an ok job of tracking; calories and exercise until dinner. Then, it all went out the window with my own premeditated collaboration. Pass Day One and it's ok.
