Lol @RangerRickL that's thoughtful.
Back on track today thank goodness. anyone got any tips on stress eating at work? It's definitely an healing area that needs work for me.
I tracked all my food, stayed within my calories and went walkies on the treadmill. The weather is pretty wintery here and dark early. I like it though, it's snuggly.
Have a great day all6 -
Yes x 3 for the 13th
Got my miles in super early today as I am one of the starters. Yesterday was slow but we had a lot of flooding the road in front of the bank looked like a river. Only good thing was my sister got to deal with my mom and dad s flooding basement. She said what would you have done she goes I would have called your sister and she would have come. As most of the roads were flooded it would have taken me a long time to get there. I am glad I didn't have to.

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 3 Km in 25 mins (hills).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Rest is REALLY important (in fact about to get some sleep)
@Slimpossible007. Sounds like you got the formula just right. (keep it fun)
@trixsey1. Good luck with the 5K run Saturday.
@conchita962. Thank you for the insights into balance and being in the moment. So relevant.
@MyersCrystal. Posted the info on metabolic damage and metabolic adaption in yesterdays thread. Thanks for the question.
@pears734. Keeping it fun and sensible habits are the keys. As you highlighted, you cannot consistently do what you do not enjoy.
@PaisleyFlower. Vending machines are not your friend (and never hold answers). Bring your own snacks to "stress eat" if you need them. I've read whole almonds dusted with cayenne pepper are supposed to be good (protein + aid for digestion). I fidget with a rubik's cube to lower tension.

I thought today would be a pass day for sure, but I managed in the end.
Late last night while packing for a weekend away I had a bad collapse and caught the corner of the coffee table on the way down. Pretty nasty concussion, so today didn't start until midday. Comfort food, but managed to stay in my calories, just. And despite taking it very easy, went for a 20 minute gentle walk around the block. Blergh. Spoonie life.6 -

Exercised?: Yes
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Had my usual daily jog 35mins and 30 mins on the cross trainer at a steady pace.
Also did 20 mins of beginner strength training exercises (with weights) and had a nice steady walk with the woofies for 60mins.
The burn this morning worked out at 731 but with the afternoon walk on top its worked out at just over 1000 calories, but this seems excessive since I haven't worked as hard today - I know the MFP is not an exact science, just an estimation, so it's probably less than this.
I've tracked everything and within my limit but used some of my exercise calories today so it makes it 1374 in total today.
@craigo3154 - thanks, I'm really looking forward to the 5K run tomorrow.5 -
I am going to drop this challenge for now as I do not have the energy to exercise. Thank you all for your kind support. I will see you in August.8

@craigo3154 Thank you for the links and insight. I will enjoy perusing the web pages tomorrow.
@Gus130 You definitely have support and friends here. Take care of yourself. We'll all be here cheering for you until you return. A big giant hug going out to you from Oklahoma!
Well, I'm enjoying the challenge of planning meals ahead and keeping my carbs to 45 grams per meal. However, I really blew it for dinner. Had two slices of thin New York style pizza from a little specialty place downtown tonight with hubby. It was delicious, but it put me over my goal by 45 kcals. To top that off I didn't deliberately exercise today...no walk...nada.
July 14---pass #2
Have a great night all!3 -
July 14:
Exercise?: 95 minutes of walking in total today, including a long walk at lunch.
Plank?: Yes. 14 for 14 on that.
Calories?: Yes, with 208 to spare.
Tracked?: Yes, even the glazed donut I shouldn't have had this morning.
Back on track and hoping for a strong weekend. Have a great one, everybody!5 -
Exercise: Yes.
Calories: Yes, even though we ate at Cracker Barrel for dinner, I was very careful with my food choices and separating out food to take home with me. I still had to dip into my exercise calories a little bit, but not by much.
Tracked: Yes.
Rest (particularly sleep) is one of those things I struggle to get enough of. It's so hard to go to bed when there are so many other things distracting me (I know, first world problems). Problem is, as hard as it is to go to bed, if I go too late, it's even harder to get out of bed!4 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes..relaxing 30 minute walk, rest day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes5
