I have recently started weight training 3 x a week as well as some cardio and I have put on weight
I haven't lost inches either
Is this normal, or should I go back to cardio?
I have been recording my food and have between 1500-1800kcal most days. Is this too much? Macros are generally 40% carbs 30% protein and 30% fat.

You are gaining muscle and it will even out as you stay consistent with your routine.0

This is happening to me as well. Have you seen a loss yet? I'm almost a month in, but I will also admit my logging isn't perfect.0

If it's early in a new routine, it's probably just water weight retention to repair your muscles. It'll drop off. You aren't building muscle to speak of in a calorie deficit.0
