Yesterday's team member posts were overflowing with compassion and affirmation. What an amazing group of friends.
But, it's a little quirky too. For the most part, we don't know where each other live; what their last name is; or in many cases, what they look like. Nonetheless, we have chosen to be accountable to each other and we are doing a great job of supporting our friends.
I am a bit in awe of that.
Your friend, Rick8 -
Yes x 3 for yesterday I had to skip lunch in order to come home and repack my husband s wound. The Dr. told him I do a great job I need to continue for 2 more weeks. Either I am going to get use to it or just be very nauseous till it's over. I will check in when I can.4

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 7 Km in 58 mins (hills).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Short meetings in city today. Got home in time to take a walk before attending daughters music recital (she did really well).
Struggled to get to calorie target today. May have to look at how to get more without adding empty calories.
Great group of friends here at UAC. So willing to be there for each other.
@SimonsChange. Amazing and inspiring change. Looking fantastic. Seems like you have found some incredible places to hike.
@pribud. Sure you will see 30 by then end of the month. Youa re doing great.
@fitastic2day. Great NSV fitting into smaller size. Feels great doesn't it.
@getrealgirl. 20yo do make everything look easy. I can barely remember being 20, but I can identify with your son. I now need MFP to ensure I eat enough (well I did today).

@sandera2: Lovely piccie of your woofie. So cute! Glad you found a nice place to take a walk, it does look lovely there.
@Marthall : I usually take a photo of anything I find intriguing, like the brick work of that railway bridge. Unfortunately, the tracks above have long since been abandoned and either left to over grow or converted into trails for walkers/cyclist.
@fitastic2day: Well done on your NSV! Feels good to drop a size doesn't it!
@Pribud: Congrats on the weight loss! That 30lb mark will be yours in no time!

What I especially like, as a Brit who's sterotypically obsessed with weather, is the daily global weather update and seasonal news!
I didn't practise what I preach today and got drenched twice. We've had really heavy rain all day. I went to a friend's house who suggested we drive to the pub for lunch. Wanting to get some exercise in, I said we should walk as it's only 15mins each way. Well, by the time we got into town the rain was so bad we both needed to quickly shop for new clothes, including underwear, before going to the pub! Oops! Luckily both of our toddlers waterproofing had worked better than our own and they were fine. Thanks to the accountability of this group I chose a wetherspoons naked burrito as it's under 300cals, although I recently learnt from @craigo3154 there may actually be up to 10%more than they say as they're given a margin of error! Then this evening UACers you made me get rained on again as I hadn't clocked 5miles so went for a quick walk along the river when my husband got back from work. There were some kids having a great time in their kayak lesson as all of the rain made the river fast flowing tonight and they were delighted as their friends kept losing their paddles. I've not canoed for a few years now. I'd love to do it again soon.
Anyway,

Exercise: yes, the walking above and zumba on my tv. My 1 year-old is getting the hang of it. She wiggles her bum and lifts her T-shirt up sticking her belly out to copy the lady who's wearing a bra top!
Hope everyone's had a great day!
Oh and @2020pinktogo sorry to hear about your husband's fall. Hope you're ok too.6 -

I decided not to do a formal workout, today. I opted to sleep in:)
Instead, I'm wearing my ankle weights...4 lbs on each ankle, for my entire 10 hour shift. I work in healthcare, so there's a lot of walking. When there's been some downtime (between patients), I do a bit of power walking around the unit.
Calories: definitely within my goal
Exercise: yes, as above
Tracking: yes5 -
Still have a few more hours to go but will not have time to report in later.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, and it was surprising.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.
Today I had a really busy, disorganized work-day and had to run out the door with only a granola bar and no packed lunch. I stopped at a McDonald's and wanted to get a big fattening meal-- but I got a salad. Still I knew it would be rough to have dinner within the calorie budget. To my surprise, my husband said he'd throw together a big salad and we could split a piece of leftover pizza. So I made it. You people are an inspiration to me to do a better job of healthy eating!5 -

@trixsey1, @marthall, @craigo3154, and @Sandera2 Thanks all for the kind words and for celebrating with me. You are a great bunch of team mates.
3 yeses again today, but I barely squeaked in on calories. At work we had the occasional office potluck luncheon that I ALMOST took too far. Ate all of my exercise calories and I definitely don't want to make that a habit. Have a successful day tomorrow everyone!5 -
Hi to Everyone,
I am so tired. Took a proctored test today. I had to study about 50 hours for the test on Retirement Income Planning. I am an estate and retirement tax attorney. Passed the test. Now it's time to go to be.
I'm going to be lazy here: Yes x 3.6 -

I struggled with food and drink today. I got roughed up by my boss in a meeting, then had a passive-aggressive colleague mess with me. I felt beaten up, and by the time I got home I reached for the wine, ordered a pizza and went for it! Thanks to the inspiring, hiking UAC members, I didn't kill the bottle of wine, and instead went for a 2nd hike with my dog and a friend. I feel lousy about my day, but I'm under calories (barely), tracked and exercised. Today was a close call. Work stress is my demon.

I'm sure it is nice to have the test over, and passed! It is always a weight off the shoulders to get these done. Now, since I am the queen of the "yes x 3," I will not take offense to the lazy comment (lol) but instead offer you a second interpretation: efficiency. Especially when checking in via phone while walking. No extra time in my life. ;-)
Yes x 3. Strength training x 60 min. Bike x 30.3 -
