    For what it's worth, police and firefighters in the field tease each other but we've always got each other's back... but those ambulance attendants are highly suspicious...

    Oh yeah, those EMTs are shady. Thats why I drove myself to the hospital when I had my heart attack.

    Actually I was driving in that direction for an appointment at the professional centre for a sinus issue. It became apparent about half way there I was not having discomfort from smoke inhalation (big fire the day before) but was having a bit of a heart attack. I decided it was quicker to continue rather than stop and call for an ambulance. I was just a few miles out, and figured if I came to a 'full stop' I'd trigger my lights and siren (chiefs car, wired for sound) and pull for the ditch. I got lucky.
