funny/cool kid story

Monday was the first day of school for my 12 yo 7th grade daughter. I ask if she is interested in any of the steak I am making for dinner. She gives a worn out unenthusiastic "sure" as a response then tells my wife, she just wants some "comfort food."
I made a nice big porterhouse and cut some off of each side for her. I cooked it in a combination of ghee, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
About 2-3 bites in, my wife looks at my daughter who had a look on her face that seemed almost inappropriate for a girl that age, so she asked, "does this mean steak is a comfort food?" The response was "mm-hm" that sounded like one given by a carb-burner eating the richest desert in the world.
