So many wonderful posts today, next month I am going to challenge myself to respond to people, like y'all do!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Dog walk and an extra four miles
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
I do a daily gratitude list. The top ones are always my husband, my dogs, the health and longevity of my mum, aunt and uncles and my health. I have been blessed with great genes, my mum is 83, my aunt is 86 and they both still walk everywhere and have great social lives, they are incredible role models. After that, I go on to whatever else I feel really blessed about, it could be no red lights on the way to work, the sun shining and it's below 105 degrees, my plants survived and I didn't kill them… the list is often full of really simple things and to some, maybe trivial. It keeps me grounded.6 -
yes x3
Stressful and disappointing day generally. No chance to work chocolate, champagne or cake into today's less active calorie level! But I survived the shock and managed to get a walk down to the beach in at the end of the day.
@am_change Fantastic, amazing succcess sticking around for 10 months shows dedication. " Even when a large glass of wine I declined is poured I won't drink it and when a huge slice of cake I declined cut for me I won't eat it." Good, value yourself.
@SimonsChange Well done on moving towards your goal
@pribud Congratulations on reaching your goal, keep up the good work.4 -

Did 67 minutes worth of hill repeats in the neighborhood.
Weighed in. The scale nudged by the pound I needed to get my 5 pound goal for August.
So Yay! My wife got her goal plus a couple of pounds so we get to go out of town this weekend.
