Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? I think I made good food choices for the most part and got my daily water goal in everyday.
Did you stick to your goals last week? For the most part...waant as active as I would like.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were do I still need to work on my activity! I really need to fit it in somewhere lol #momlife. This week is going to be tough as it's the TOM for me so hopefully I can remain somewhat on track2 -

Hope you don't mind that I used yesterday's weight - I "gained" a lb overnight from too much sodium last night.
Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? Did you stick to your goals last week?
I ate fine during the week, but completely blew it on the weekend. Somehow I still managed to lose weight, even though by all accounts I shouldn't have.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?
Really going to try to stick to my goals this week. However this coming weekend, I am flying down to NC to visit my parents, so all bets are off. My mom is luckily a good cook and a health nut, but I still have no guarantee that the "healthy" food she makes will fit into my calorie goals. Breakfast will be difficult too since I'm obviously not going to bring my protein powder on the plane.
Best meal: I actually cooked dinner this week, a rarity, and made italian-dressing marinated chicken. It was the laziest/easiest thing I've ever made, tasty, and pretty low-calorie too. I'm not big on "zesty Italian" so instead I used a lite Italian dressing that has basil & romano in it.
Worst meal: ugh, ate out every day this weekend and they were all bad choices.
Friday - Mexican - I had carne asada with rice & beans which was actually healthy, but also had chips & guac.
Saturday - Italian - I had spinach/ricotta ravioli with a pesto cream sauce. Plus appetizers. Plus wine.
Sunday - Japanese - I had chicken teriyaki. Not too bad, but also had mochi.
Best snack: an apple
Worst snack: pretzels
Brief update for my ongoing health issues - got some blood work done on Friday and should be hearing the results sometime this week. Not sure if I want them to find something or not!3 -

I've been struggling with low energy and fatigue for the last few months and having frequent migraines. I went to my doctor on Thursday and got blood work done. Apparently I'm anemic and have a Vitamin D deficiency. Ugh. No wonder I've felt AWFUL the past few weeks/months. So now I have to take 6000 iu vitamin D3 a day and Iron with vitamin C so it absorbs better, since I've been on an iron pill for 6+ months and I'm still anemic.
So my plan now is to continue to eat 1200-1400 daily as that will put me at -1 lb a week and to keep walking and doing some exercise as I can. Right now I'm mainly going to focus on upping my protein and getting my Iron and D3 at normal levels and that should improve my energy and muscle strength and fatigue issues.
Best meal: Protein Shake
Worst meal: Culvers, cheeseburger and fries
Best snack: Premier Protein
Worst snack: Oreo Icecream Cake for my birthday5 -

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? Did you stick to your goals last week?
Last week was rough. I was still trying to recuperate from the vacation time difference. Plus I had a lot of stress at work with trying to catch up and my supervisor not being very helpful. But I think I'm back on track and have reset my goals for this week.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you were previously doing?
Not changes to pre vacation plans but this week puts me back to my sleep, workout, work and meal schedules. I do much better with a standard routine.
Best meal: Cheeseburger Casserole from skinny taste
Worst meal: Dinner out at a friends house. I sorta watched and then had dessert, a big dessert.
Best snack: Almonds
Worst snack Caramel apple cookie from the apple orchard but man was it good.

Starting weight: 138 pounds
Weigh-in #1: 138 pounds
Weigh-in #2: 139 pounds
Total loss: gained 1 pound
Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week?
I was unsuccessful last week - I gained a pound instead of losing. There may be several reasons for it.- My cycle is off by 5 days and it's been a hard hormonal ride.
- I am still feeling complacent because of my past weight loss success, which is dangerous.
- I have switched to doing a lot more strength exercises instead of just cardio and my muscles are growing.
- I suddenly find myself unhappy with my job, which I loved for the past 4 years. I was very miserable about it on Friday and had an eating binge that was so bad I didn't even log what I ate. I simply couldn't remember everything.
Did you stick to your goals last week?
Almost for exercise - I worked out every day, except for Saturday. My goal is to work out 30 minutes every day, walking not included. My workouts where shorter on some days but I am heading in the right direction.
No for food. I was over on my calories on Saturday and had a horrible food binge on Friday. I also had way too much alcohol on Saturday night.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?
I'll try to take care of myself emotionally so I am not tempted to binge because I no longer care for my job. I will start meditating this week. I will also start looking for new role models and new goals so I don't get over confident and continue to gain weight.
Best meal: Gluten-free bread with local goat cheese and local strawberry jam - Yum!
Worst meal: Korean soju with pineapple juice, lots of it (alcohol)
Best snack: Japanese rice crackers with black beans
Worst snack: 3/4 of a chocolate bar

I'm not surprised by this, my eating was a little out of control over the weekend. Sometimes the extra calories are totally worth it though so I'm ok with it. With any luck it's mostly water weight and I'll be back down quickly. Definitely hoping to hit the reset button for this week!

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week?
I definitely saw this coming. We went on vacation this weekend and while I ate well most of the time, there were a couple of meals that were definitely not great. The only working out I did were some short walks. I also had a couple of drinks which I don't normally do. I'm hoping a lot of it is water weight and after a good day of eating and a good workout I'll be back down a bit.
Did you stick to your goals last week? For the most part. I worked out every day while I was in town and ate well during the week. I was hoping to be a little better on vacation but things happen.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?
I'm starting a new strength program this week called Brute Body. Hoping to gain some muscle mass while burning body fat!
Best meal: Chicken, brussel sprouts, and potatoes
Worst meal: Cheeseburger (no bun) and garlic fries
Best snack: Coconut flour tortillas
Worst snack: Ice cream1 -
Starting weight: 150.1
Weigh-in #1: 148.2
Weigh-in #2: 146.9
Loss this week: 1.3 lbs
Total Loss: 3.2 lbs
Goal weight: 132.5 lbs
Goal: to lose 1.5 per week, total of 18 lbs.
I am right on target with my loss, a little more than 3 lbs in two weeks.
Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? I only lost 1.3 lbs this week, my weight was lower on Sunday, but had Chinese food Sunday night. I am hoping for some water weight loss in the next couple of days.
Did you stick to your goals last week? Yes, again I went out three nights, but I tried to stay on target.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?I did not exercise as much as I should have, my plan is to be more consistent in this area.

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? I was very depressed. My current injury got the better of me. But Friday I had a successful chiro visit and yesterday a good training seminar (related to my injury, coincidentally) and I'm feeling more success right now, having posted a loss today (but I'm not counting it because I was up yesterday).
Did you stick to your goals last week? Exercise, yes, and despite the injury. Calories, no. Confession: I had a few pity parties and snacks were invited. This week's goal is to eliminate that.
Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing? Yes: more deficit and less heavy exercise. No lifting or running. I'll walk, tread climb, and modify some Jillian Michaels stuff.
We've been eating takeout a lot because it's what my husband wants and it's a bad cycle of my own laziness in giving in, eating some crap food, feeling less and less well, and continuing to be lazy. I'm going to get back to cooking my paleo, two-veggie dinners whether my family likes it or not. That's my plan to recover my calorie deficit this week.
I am determined to get back on my feet this week.1 -

So, turns out I have a Vitamin D deficiency. That sure explains why I've been so tired and feeling cruddy! Unfortunately, I have heard that it can take months and months to bring levels back to normal. Fingers crossed the supplements work quickly, and I'm feeling better soon.0 -

I have the same thing. I got blood work done about a month ago. My dr said it was totally normal and that I needed to get some sun0 -

I live in Ohio and I never see the sun (except today is a record-breaking 90 degrees for some reason?!). Almost all of my friends are D-deficient, so figures that I am as well.0 -

We always joke in Ohio that there are 2 seasons ... Winter and Construction! Summers are generally long and filled with road construction. Winter is long, cold, and filled with snow/ice. Winter always seems to last so long here - if it's any indication, on my wedding last April 2, a snowstorm knocked the power out! Totally thought we were safe in April, but nope! We don't see much of spring or fall - they always seem to pass by so quickly. (Although fall is my absolute favorite! I can't wait for it to get chilly and crisp, I'm tired of 90 degrees!) In general, most days are cloudy and gloomy here. Plus we are right off Lake Erie, so taking into account lake effect weather ... it can easily change 50 degrees from one day to the next, or even within the same day!0 -

Good luck! I just found out a few days ago I have a vitamin d deficiency and am also anemic, which I've struggled with for the past 15 years. So now I get to take d3 3x a day in addition to my iron and multivitamin. I hate taking pills but I want my energy back! Lol.0 -
@Megan91384 Wow that's a lot! My dr said for me to take one 2,000iu pill of the D3 a day, but I feel like that isn't enough.0

I have to take 6000iu a day, 3 2000 pills. I thought that seemed high too but apparently I'm that low. I can already tell I'm starting to feel better and its only been a week.0 -

Wow!!!! That's so different from here. It's always hot. When it gets like in the 60s we consider that cold lol!!!!! Don't let it get in the 50s....schools close and everything. It's really funny. It normally starts to cook off here right before Halloween but we have definitely had hot Christmas's....weird I know. It's back hot in March/April.1
