Big day at the farm today! We are entertaining between 100 and 120 men from a local homeless shelter and education center. I am so happy!! We've got entertainment and a hay rack ride through our woods. Only challenge will be the heat.

Repeat on best time today, Yay! Early morning walk before the forecast rain arrived.
Keeping tabs on daughter and nephew today while my wife and sister visited an out of town craft show. They get along very well together. Quite day, lots of housework done while the kids mostly entertained themselves.
Daughter is now on school holidays. As I work from home most days, this may become more interesting.

Spent some quality time helping little kids.
Cold ride this morning. Seen a lot of deer. If I was a hunter I would easily have a full freezer.

Very active weekend. tracked and under calories both days. Today I actually earned more than I ate. Don't remember ever doing that. It was a beautiful day and since I haven't done a 40 mile bike ride this summer, I cycled most of the afternoon. -- After zumba in the morning, some yard work and some strength exercises thrown in. Went out to dinner and ate well-- filet Mignon and lobster tail!!!4 -

Very happy and busy weekend here at the farm. Lots of time with grandchildren and their friends on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Then, a total chance of guests, in that we had 120 people including residents and volunteers from a local homeless & rehabilitation center. That experience was delightful too!
Hot day, but a beautiful sky and a decent breeze. A great time was had by all!
