I started this once and it didn't post, so here I am starting again!!

How is everyone's September starting out!!
Did those who get a long weekend enjoy it??

So far my September is good I went out of town for my long weekend for one night then I made soup with my sister Sunday, and I did lots of resting Monday because I had twisted my foot Friday and ignored it!

Hope everyone has a great week.

My weekend went as I figured, my daughter moved out, so now we start the process of repairing and adjusting things at the house.

Hope everyone has a good week!

Hey sorry! I have had a hellish Sept so far and it was showing in my lack of food logging and exercise so far! Should get better after tomorrow.

How do you feel about your daughter moving out? Do you have any other kids at home?

I hope it does get better for you !!!

I am glad my daughter moved out, I couldn't handle her stress anymore!! She did so much damage to our house. I still have my 12 year old boy at home! He is a good kid so far, loves his sweat pants and video games lol.

I remember being relieved when my daughter left for school the first time. Teenaged girls are a different species, I am sure of it. Now that my daughter is 21 she is mostly sane again lol.

How old is your daughter? Did she go away to school?

She is 18, i am not sure where she went, i believe she is staying with a friend. I actually have not been in touch with her at all in over a week, mostly i know she is okay because she periodically updates her twitter. We kicked her out for being destructive and disrespectful so right now she sees us as monsters! One day we will get back to peace.

Did things slow down for you a bit??

She should grow up a bit now that she is on her own. My daughter and I did not get along at ALL...until she moved out, and had to do things herself for a while. Made her grow up a bit. I hope the same happens for yours.

Things slow down a bit now, starting today! It should have started yesterday but my boss's DIL went into labour so I had to work super early and split shift yesterday to help her cover. Today my life is normal again, for now, lol.

I find it hard to believe we are the only two active members of this group, where did everyone go!

I hope the last half of your month slows down.

I dont know where everyone went, i was hoping that a few people would come back with september, but it may not happen! If no one else comes around for august it may just be time to find a nee group?

I believe I'm cycling through some depression, I can't seem to make myself care about things like taking my meds, cleaning my house, or going to work! I am doings them at bare minimum because I have to, but I really don't want to. It is so non-specific how I feel too!
Time to do things to improve my mood

Hey guys, I have been around, but not posting, there hasn't been much activity.

I am sorry to hear you are going through some depression. Please take your meds or reach out to someone. Its so important!

Thanks to both of you. I don't plan to let this mood defeat me, though I did let it drive me to the donut shop yesterday! I am going to kick back and restart my battle for the next 9 lbs to get under 280.

So I'm heading into the doc today. My asthma kicked up hard yesterday. I am so nervous. The last time I went in I was 361...and everyone was just so picky on the weight and not the actual issue that I had gone in for. I feel like I may cry if I got in and they begin that again. I've lost about 40lbs from that visit. But I just don't wanna deal with the fat talk, or the here you need to have surgery or take these pills to lose weight. Please just focus on my asthma, which is not weight related, but allergy related (use to see an allergist for it, moved to far to see him). I know I need to go, but I really don't want to go in and deal with this. Its one of those things that because I am still so fat, not matter how much I have improved I still feel like a failure....All to get some maintenance meds for asthma....blah...AND this also means I miss out on working out today, which I'm sure wouldn't have been successful with the whole not being able to breath thing....but still....

Anyway....I am done crying, hope your days are going well.

I'm glad you had a place to come and vent... I am sure a few of us can relate with the doctors and other people assuming your weight is the only problem. I hope you can get some help for the asthma, having that under control is a necessary

I hope you are able to cope with the guilt and concentrate on feeling better.

I am in need of the weekend, I am going to start working on the repairs to my basement and I think it will feel good to physically work hard. Plus my husband should be home which will be nice.

The worst part is getting my husband home to help me, he often is only home for a day or two a week!!! Oh well it must get done!! Today I walked around Costco for 45 minutes pushing a 80 lbs cart (cat litter and dog food and chicken) can feel it in the muscles

Oh thank goodness September is almost over. I am hiding in the bathroom enjoying 10 minutes to myself.... my husband and I had a lovely argument today because the dishes were not done and I of course acted like a total psycho wife that had been completely insulted! He must think I'm losing my mind. I did all the dishes then cried for 45 minutes then served him dinner and called him sir.... complete crazy person here!!!

HLaR79, you sound like you need a break (with all the depression talk and outbursts). Hugs to you and ask your DH to get off the high horse and help with the dishes. Problem solved :)

It hasn't been a great few weeks/months but I keep pushing ahead going with the idea that "this too shall pass". Eventually things will smooth out. I thankfully have too much going on to give up and hide under the blankets lol
