@craigo3154 Thank-you so much for the great information. So helpful that you explained it specifically to my routine of skips and rowing. Can't wait to try it out.
You are awesome. Thank-you @RangerRickL for bringing up the topic on HIIT today. You are awesome!!

Yes x3. 10km of brisk walking, pushing the stroller.
I have a love/hate relationship with HIIT. I have done a lot of it and hate it during but love how I feel after. I use www.fitnessblender.com for home workouts - all free and a ton of variety. Loads of great HIIT routines.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. 3 mile dog walk and an evening walk with a friend at Rodeo Park. I am off tomorrow and might get the push bike out…

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Today was easy

I haven’t done HIIT for a long time. Before I left England, I had a PT and would interval train 3-4 times a week. I do miss it and like the idea of exploring some of the home HIIT workouts.

Good evening everyone :) .......... @RangerRickL thanks for all the kind words about having us back for October and the PM. What you and @craigo3154 said about HIT is what I was doing(before my back problems..lol) it was called a Tabatta class....We would have to do an exercise at 50%, for so long then up to the highest level we can for so long and then at a resting stage(say 10% effort) for so long. I loved it but found it exhausting. :o

    Good day today :)

    exercise yes, walking the dog
    calories yes, under by 200
    tracking yes
water was not so good today only 6 glasses

Hoping everyone has a good day tomorrow. :)

(posting on the morning of the fifth)

Well, my fitness pals-- yesterday, October 4, was my 62d birthday. Happy to say that I overcame my biggest challenge and didn't eat too much. My husband told me he hadn't bought or made a cake because he knew I wouldn't want it. He was right and it was an act of thoughtfulness. I did have a sugar cookie but squeaked in on the calorie count. So...

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes.
