Any Celiacs in the group?

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac's, and now have to be suuuper careful of what I eat. (There are so many hidden glutens!)
The upside to this diagnosis is that I will be Low Carb for Life.
I'd love to connect with others going down the same LC & GF path.
Cheers!

To clarify, I started LC back in 2006 and had great success.
Besides losing 70 pounds, my cholesterol dropped from 459 to 197. Since the day the Dr.'s discovered my ridiculous high cholesterol #'s (age 11), I've never seen under 200 until I did LC.
So now I am reinvigorated on my lc woe.0 -
Welcome, recently diagnosed too, was originally diagnosed as only gluten intolerant so been GF for about 3.5 years. We are quite a few in here.1

@DahnaLane that is a great report for many years. LC has still to address my cholesterol in the past three years but at least now it is big and fluffy per special testing. Since all my other blood markers have improved so and the size/count of particles are good the doctor is more or less OK with my 300 at this time.
When on a hunch Oct 2014 I cut out all sugar and all forms of all grains for pain management my 40 years of serious IBS fully resolve in six months and has not returned so I expect gluten was part of my problem. The pain management with LCHF was really great just 30 days in and continues to improve as my general health recovers.1
