Hi everyone,
I've lost 30lb so far on mostly keto and have at least 30 more to go. I'm a 6' male 40yo, started at about 277 in August and I'm down to 247 using mainly a keto diet. Figured I'd open my diary and answer any questions for anyone who is starting out and curious about what works. I've been pretty accurate with my logging in including cheat/mess up days. I'm am not an expert, but I know I found it helpful to look at the diaries of those who had some success and a similar body type as myself. I definitely feel much more energetic and healthier overall although I haven't had any blood tests to confirm anything yet. I am waiting until I lose another 7 - 10 pounds until I make a doctor's appointment to check. My blood pressure Is still high (at least when I check it at home using a meter). Hopeful it will drop when I lose some more and I can get off of Lisinopril although I was born with only one functioning kidney so I may have to be in some meds forever as that has an effect on BP and filtering. Good luck on your journey.

I think the most useful form of advice is from direct experience. While every person is different, there are points in which there are glaring similarities, and others can equate with.1
