    We are a political animal. It is part of being a social animal. I am pretty terrible at the political part.

    Very nice gesture from your boss, Steve. Am excited for you going on your vacation.

    Like the idea of using an RV to do the snowbird thing.

    Good morning BBB.

    Tried turning one of the vases for my sister out of stacked and glued plywood - failure. The plywood delaminated while I was turning. I need better plywood (expensive) or to just get her to go with solid wood. The pressure is on to get these things done. Her massive artwork must be finished and installed by January 1.

    Singing a piece all in Latin, this morning in choir. Not a fan.

    Date night with DMIL tagging along. Ended up doing craft pizza joint. Twas' an early night, indeed. Sigh......

    Today is stuck on computer all day for coursework and hopefully glancing at the Nascar race later.

    Good Morning!

    Had vacation mode date night with DW last night, myself. We went to a top shelf Chinese restaurant in town, and then came home and relaxed in the hot tub. That hot tub might be one of my greatest purchases yet! Did I mention that Connie and I don't own swim suits? Seriously, I've soaked in that tub four nights in a row, and my frozen shoulder, and my arthritis symptoms are showing marked improvement.

    Packing and getting ready to leave tomorrow for Arizona. Early flight (7:45). Ugh. At least we are scheduled to be in Phoenix at 10:00, which gives us the lion's share of the day to explore via rental car. This ol' bean counter is getting excited!

    Mary, from the sound of things, your boss doesn't have much in the way of management skills. A guy that shrugs when his employee shows him she doubled her sales or income for the company, but shows you the new place he has built in Utah, just doesn't get how to interact with his employees.

    Dave, I used to love the latin pieces we sang in chorus. O Magnum and Ave Maria were my faves.

    Lou - how are you at customer service and sorting merchandise?

    I've got 7 years of Hardee's experience, so I like to think I can make sandwiches, refill coffee and mop floors with the best of them. There may be the matter of salary to consider though...

    I'm up for a Kenosha meet up. I may have to pay for it with a trip to the outlet mall though, so y'all better be worth it.

    Iffy weather today, so I'll probably be back to painting in the spare bedroom this afternoon. After the obligatory Costco trip, of course.

    We'll I was thinking Ohio State but Oklahoma State had a tough day too. At least they made a game of it. That was a good game.

    Ohio State definitely got eaten up in Iowa. And the Badgers go undefeated. Though they say their schedule has been easy thus far...

    Lee, our company is his side job, tax shelter, that's that problem, spends his time working as an exec for others. Doesn't pay enough attention to us. Says that's going to change, we will see. I just need to ride it out, as long as I can. hopefully 10 more years lol.

    Tis Sunday night, it was pitch dark at 5pm. Mr. Winter is a knockin! Should be unpacking in new place by Thurs/Fri this week. oh joy.
