- GA Bulldogs got the butt stomped by Auburn yesterday. Ouch.
- It turned cold here. Brrr, I don't like this.
- I am carrying the Air Force flag at they honor Veterans at church this morning. I'm wearing my old uniform.

12 hr work day yesterday but my two areas are done woohoo
Going to have a collector come over today, to look at some estate stuff I have. Both sets of Grandmothers stuff, china, jewelry etc

Good morning BBB.
Being able to wear the old uniform is a great NSV, Dennis. I haven't worn my dress uniform since my retirement ceremony in July 2000. Maybe I shoulfd pull it out of the closet and try it on.
DDILis accompanting our choir on violin this morning. DS says she is stressing about the solo. To top it off, she was at an urgent care clinic last night with our DGS who had a high temp from an ear infection. Praying life eases up on her. She is a fantastic woman who gives too much of herself and is feeling overwhelmed.
Got three more vessels turned yesterday. I'll take today off. Maybe I'll turn some Christmas decorations, or something else fun.0 -

Awesome "Friendsgiving" dinner yesterday. Enjoyed good food, fare, and cheer. Ready to kick off the Holidays, now!
Went to Post laster in the day. Sad to report one of our loyal members, a retired O-6 USMC Colonel, lost his entire home to a fire at 2a. night before. He is hard of hearing. Purportedly, firefighters had to break in and carry him out. He never heard/smelled anything. House is a total loss. Makes my stomach nauseous.
Today - joining owners from new company that is trying VALIANTLY to woo me at Redskins/Vikings game. They're sending a car to pick me up at 11a for a few hours of tailgating. And a dream box seats at the field. Should be fun. Looking forward to talking with others in the organization. They're sure making it hard to say no!
I'm with Lou (so long as he eats less Gouda)......
How is DH feeling in Indiana? Congrats to DS who starts legislative internship soon! Tell him to stay clear of the creepy ones!

Rain here since midnight. We were going to start the burn pile and add a round of leaves but oh well. I worked Jack yesterday so today will be a house day with laundry and doing comps for a new shop location Tom wants to buy.
Mary - Wisconsin rocks. Your new office sounds wonderful. Good luck with the estate guy today.
Kelly - how is DH?
David - love the vessels. I bet Christmas ornaments will be awesome.
Lee - I’m with you on the list of to dos.

I should head back to scrapbooking as they are working until 2 but I really need to have some at home time too. No real plans except friends over for dinner. Going to make soup. I'll post a photo or two of my work as soon as I unpack.
Watched the Huskers suffer their biggest loss since before I was born. My mom is probably turning over in her grave...she was a mega-fan. I can take it or leave it...I usually go to a party or two but don't really care.

* David, I wish I could hug your DDIL. I know what that feels like, and I'd remind her that it's okay to be human. Truthfully, making mistakes in music at church, I believe, is a positive thing. If it was always perfect, then no one would ever think they could join in. When we make mistakes, others have hope that their offering is good, too, even with its imperfections. We were created as imperfect beings, and it's time we embrace that! I do music tonight, and I know I'll have at least one big glaring goof ... I always do. And it's okay.

So next week I'm giving the message at our church service. I can't wait! I had an inspiration and asked the pastor if I could do it sometime, thinking he'd maybe have an opening in January or February, and he asked me to do the 19th. This is the first time I've preached this year, and I'm ready! The weird thing is that I'm also doing the music ... I've never done both at one service. Their quota of me will be FILLED.

All is good in Indiana. DH goes back to work Wednesday. We both need it. My waistband will be thankful.
Ds2 is celebrating #19 today. Happy birthday Reilly!! We will be meeting the intern for dinner up north around 8 tonight.

Frosted lawn this morning, Mr. Winter is knocking. I'm daydreaming about my Christmas décor indoor and outdoor. SO is on board with lighting up the roof line on the front of the house this year. He isn't thrilled about the peak, but he loves me. I told him he could army crawl to light up that part, and I have some great new gutter/shingle clips etc. Now to buy the lights. Im not sold on the led's yet. Im traditional. hmmmm

Our Badgers go undefeated. Ohio State goes after Michigan, and the 2nd string Packers QB gets his first win. I'd say Wisco had a good sports weekend!
Happy Birthday Mr. Reilly! Last year of the teens! Love the pictures on fb! You guys are awesome and I love that they take care of their Gramma and spend time with her. Mine did too!
I started my Christmas shopping yesterday! And also got me two new pairs of shoes, a new vest, a new top, some placemats for the kitchen, a tablecloth for turkey day!
So glad I put in 12 hours on Sat unpacking the office.... now....
Im ready for the weekend! lol0
