I think I'm not bouncing back as quickly!

I turned 53 last week. It used to be that I'd get a cold, take a day off of work, and be well enough to go to work and do everything else I always did.

It's not like that anymore ... Tuesday I had bad headaches, Wednesday aches, and Thursday I didn't train or go out and I'm not sure I'm going to be up to pushing myself on Friday either!

That's not good !!!!

I hear you! Don't know whether you're still running a calorie deficit, but for me that makes the bounce even slower. Hydration, nutrition, rest . . . hope you feel better soon!

At 61 I'm slow to heal now. However, even though I can't jump as high, I can stay up longer.

Hope you are feeling better. I had a lingering cold last year. Unusual for me. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come.

Aside from growing older, I think there can be peaks and valleys. I do think a three mile walk instead of an intense spin class can be a good thing. I also think it is important to listen to your body.
