Some interesting findings. Obviously not in humans yet, but promising nonetheless.

    Yes, interesting. Thank you for sharing @ryenday. I found this pique my curiosity "fasting enhances mitochondrial coordination with peroxisomes, a type of organelle that can increase fatty acid oxidation, a fundamental fat metabolism process". I wonder if that is why 5:2 doesn't have the plateau stages like regular calorie restriction diets do?
