During our trip to New York City, we had the delightful experience of seeing the Michelangelo exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art ( the Met). Rose, my wife, was moved by the preparatory drawing of the hand of God as represented by the artist in the famous creation image as included within the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel. See top photo above.
On the other hand, I was thrilled to discover a still functioning wood slatted electric powered escalator within the venerable Macy’s department store at Herald Square in New York.
Have a great day as you reach for your goals!

OMG I remember those escalators!!!
Snow is in our forecast okay the weatherman says up too 2 feet over 3 days. Well let's start a panic everyone was at the bank getting money for Xmas. I must be on some crazy calendar because I thought we had 3 weeks and these people are acting like it's tomorrow plus we might get snowed in. Monday's are always take in money day so it's really confusing when people are acting like it's a Thursday or Fri.
Feeling pretty good I was concerned I had pulled something major but it all feels pretty good. I will stick with flat shoes another day. Have a great day everyone!!4 -

Appears you found some interesting art and architecture during your trip. Always nice to find something which captivates your attention. I am presently auditing an online MOOC on Roman Architecture presented by a professor from Yale University. It is a "beginner" course which my DH and I find very enlightening. Might be something you or Rose would enjoy. It is listed at Coursera.org should you care to follow up.2 -

Keep checking in though. Just because you’ve used your pass days, doesn’t mean you have to sit it out

A few weeks ago a young women who is getting her Master’s degree in physical therapy told me that in order to mimic running outdoors on natural ground, you have to set your treadmill settings to an incline of at least 1.5. This makes sense because the treadmill does a lot of moving for you and is completely flat, unlike most ground that you walk on. Since then, I’ve been trying to run with an incline, and it has been tough. My heart rate escalates quickly, and I’ve had to stop often, which has been discouraging. However, as I’ve said before, I enjoy running because of how quickly you can see your improvement. After two weeks, I can run the same distances without stopping as I could without any incline. I’m still a bit slower, but I’m sure I’ll get my speed back with time as well. Hurray for non-scale victories!7 -

Today was hard! When I was entering the recipes I was cooking for dinner this morning I found out it was crazy high in calories so I had to tighten down the rest of the day and add more exercise in to keep my deficit. Well then my sister thought she’d treat me with some doughnuts I’d been craving that are like 280 calories EACH and didn’t understand why I wouldn’t eat it. I took it to have in the morning lol. Nobody understood how hard I worked so I could enjoy my luxurious dinner and keep my deficit. :-/
