I've been mugged and I like it!

I received a package from Milwaukee today, which happens to be Mecca to any Harley rider. In it was a great HD travel mug and a local dealer t-shirt which is our official uniform. I'm smiling from ear to ear. Thanks Mary!

Your welcome! Did you notice on the front of the shirt, it's their new roll out "115th Anniversary" shirt - early release mind you.... Most dealers are not offering for sale until Feb 2018 around here! I tried to get one from the "Milwaukee" Harley dealership, but they are holding out selling them. So I drove to the one a bit west of Milwaukee by 15 minutes. Hal's is a good shop, as well!
Enjoy! Ride Safe!0 -

Wow, post from earlier gone... Poof!
Mary, I did notice the 115 and thought it unusual. I know HD doesn't like things to get out early. Thank you for the effort! I was in Milwaukee for the 90th, 95th and 100th (the Elton John debacle) Homecoming Anniversaries. For the 95th we actually stayed at the Best Western a couple of blocks from Hal's HD. Hard to believe that was 20 years ago.

Elton John debacle?

It's 2003 and Harley Davidson is celebrating their 100th anniversary. Anyone with a bike who could get there was in Milwaukee to celebrate. It was great party all week capped off with concerts in Veterans Park the final night. Tim McGraw, Kid Rock and the Doobie Brothers all played but the main act was kept a secret. Speculation was it might be the Rolling Stones or some other rock and roll legend. When they finally announced Elton John you could hear a pin drop and then people left in droves. Elton John is a good musician but a gay, English piano player was not the right choice for this group of bikers. Hence, the Elton John debacle.

Now I see the back of the new shirt in your photo also has a 115 on back, too. SO has one from me under our tree too. He will be happy.
Well, we aren't going to let you come into Milwaukee again, or anyother BBB'rs, without a meet up. And yes on EJ! But I/we stayed LOL. Agree, he is no biker band, for sure. When I think biker band, I think Lynryd Skynryd , Steppenwolf (Born to be Wild), maybe AC/DC. But no, not so much EJ...0 -
