First time in my life to be happy to pee on a stick and get a POSITIVE.
I'm in Ketosis.
It was horrible yesterday. I felt exhausted and like I had a horrible head cold. I also had a sore throat, so I thought that maybe I was coming down with something.
I read that, for some people, a sore throat at the begining could be from dehydration and to take electrolytes. So, I added some to my water bottle because, either way, my body seemed to need them.
As of this morning, I feel great.
I'm down 4.6lbs over thw past 5 days, which is most likely water but... yay

Very good! Read this and all the other fabulous information in our "stickies". It is generally the case that sodium intake needs to be addressed on an ongoing basis when "eating keto" not only when just starting out. My personal experience is that even though I eat higher carb of ~50 grams, I still need to "supplement" especially when engaging in a higher level of activity and/or hot summer days when outside. "Keto flu" is avoidable. I carry salty boullion cubes with me for an extra hit of sodium when needed. My "1st signs" are feeling clammy and/or having "legs of lead"/general lethargy.

Thank you kpk54. I have been drinking these little electrolyte packs once a day.
I have heard about pickles but don't like dill (love me some sweet pickles, though).
I naturally eat a lot of olives and have heard they're a good choice.
Thanks for the resource.2
