Had a rough couple of months sticking with the low carb because people at work kept bringing in goodies and I had zero self control. And once I started, it was a vicious downward spiral of gluttony and feeling like crap and hating myself for not being able to stop. Bleh. Put on 10 lbs and I'm pissed about it. But I'm back. For the past 5 days I've been doing IF; OMAD for the past 2 days. I'm LOVING it. I'm not feeling tempted by anything during my fasting period, and because I know I have a long fast ahead of me, during my feeding window I'm making really smart choices in food. Before, I was trying to keep carbs below 50. I'm trying to stay below 100 now to see if the freedom of having ONE roll, or ONE potato, or things like that, makes it easier for me to stick with it. Which is dumb because I like how I feel when eating low carb. But sometimes I just want some bread without guilt! LOL

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about OMAD'ing it and the freedom I'm feeling now. Have already dropped a couple pounds in 5 days. I know some people get stupid fast results with IF/OMAD. I'm not expecting that, because it's me, LOL. But as long as the trend continues downward I'm cool with it.

Here's to a happy and healthy 2018 for all of us!

Welcome back! You sound just like me! I have been lowering my carbs slowly over the last few days and my sugar monster is dying out! Thank the dear Lord!!! Sugar and processed carbs are evil!

Ditto .... welcome back. I too had some slippage over the holidays and feeling blech because of it. Doing LC (20g) per day with IF but two meals a day. Will try one again, once I’m back on track and not as hungry

I think dietary flexibility is a great thing to strive for. Keto may work atone point but low carb may work better at a different time. OMAD may work best now but at other times three meals or multiple meals may be best.

Going with whatever works best for you right now is the main thing. :)

Don't you wish gluttony worked best? ;):D
