I tend to just get a craving for something and then google it.

Today I'll be googling flourless sugar free peanut butter cookies.

I find adding the word keto or low carb to a recipe search helps. Paleo or primal recipes are often lower carb but I substitute out their honey, syrup or agave for stevia or some sugar alcohols.

I also suggest looking for low carb or "keto" on pinterest or google searches. My experience is that a lot of "diabetes" cookbooks follow the terrible guidelines made my certain national organizations (which shall not be named) that think diabetics need to eat tons of carbs.
