Here is a Lake Michigan shoreline view of the downtown Milwaukee skyline in winter
It is a very livable city with a very modest cost of living for real estate and restaurants.

Exercised?: Yes. 20 mins bodyweight strength work.

Rain most of today (every time I had a gap to walk). Had to make do with only my bodyweight work as exercise.
Really busy work day.

Last night I walked the school hallways with a coworker. Okay I think she picked me as to find out how much I know what's going on. LOL I tell nothing I was like oh that's too bad who was picking on you? That's not nice. She gave up on me quickly. Did I know she went and asked for a raise right after they gave us all our raises and bonuses. Yep!!! I am curious to see if she stays or goes but I sure wasn't asking.
Ice storm to hit today joints feel like it. Wish we could have kept our spring weather a few days longer.2 -

I love the sunset. Where I live, we are lucky enough to have a mountain range that the sun sets behind. It is beautiful to watch while walking.

12th January - a 'just about made it' day
Exercise: Yes, just about. Walking fast to the shopping centre, the long way, 20 minutes, walking back rather more slowly, 10 minutes, the shortcut, but loaded with a heavy shopping bag. Proper walk tomorrow, look forward to it already!
Calories: Yes, just about. Hosting New Year's drinks for neighbours, huge success, but I ended up drinking more whisky than I'd planned and only stayed under calories by not eating much more than carrot and cucumber sticks, small licks of dips, like salsa and aubergine caviar. Proper food tomorrow!
Tracking: Yes, but it wasn't easy. I tried to be on the generous side, in case I've forgotten a mouthful ...5 -
