Need I say more about the conditions outside.
A short swim tonight just lapping the pool. didn't count, just swam sets of 10 and change stroke so 60 lengths min = 1500m.

Was supposed to be on vacation skiing but it's just to cold, wouldn't be much fun and not safe. If a person got injured they could have hypothermia and severe frost bite by the time they were rescued.
I might be a tad grumpy.

Sick all week. Can't figure out a good time to swim during the week with the downtown pool still closed. Finally got to the pool today. 2000 yards freestyle.

No, but I will be tomorrow!! Can't wait!

I think I am going to get back up to Tues, Weds, Fri. Missed it too much last week and Weds to Tues break is going to cost me endurance long term!

    only 3.5 miles today.
Pool was hot. At last 88.
Sux when it feels that hour going in.
I didn't even try pushing sprint sets.

Day off from work so I could get to the pool on a week day. 2000y free.

Going to try to psych myself up to get to a new masters group on Thursday. I hate new things :/

This is me... totally. I'm signing up to be a Water X instructor. It's cheap. It's only 3 Fri night/Saturday weekend commitments. They always need subs. There's no reason not to do it, but I could still come up with 5 excuses without needing any time.

No swim since Friday, but Friday was good :) Back at it tomorrow.

That made me think of a Brick Session for Triathlon training. At least you were in the water. I was on the side of a mountain shoveling snow to self rescue my company truck. May have said **** Kitten more than once.

During my 150s, the guy in the lane next to me wanted to work on his breaststroke so he would take off when I was coming back on my first 50 free and asked me to try to chase him down. A little more work, but a lot of fun.

I did 150 m freestyle trying to master rotary breathing and 900 m breaststroke because rotary breathing caused large gulps of water.
