@RangerRickL. Opened the 19, so I'll open today.
As I am going on vacation (and it's summer here in Australia), would love to know how you keep on track when away from home?
Do you depart as passenger and return as cargo? Or do are you more sensible with eating and activity when on leave?
I plan to have an active holiday, but will still most likely track.

Early walk before breakfast and the heat of the day. Got to 37C today (98F). Expecting 40C tomorrow (104F).

When on holiday I always start the day off with exercise. We’ve always booked places that have a gym on site (even VRBO/Home Away) and I am very cautious to track my food with MFP. Two habits from home that I pack in my vacation armour.…

Day off today #1.
Feeling lousy, nice comments would be appreciated. Came home last night after three nights away working, house filled with husband's friends and their food and drink. Went to bed grumpy, cleared up their mess this morning, but ate lots of their nibbles. Too tired to go to my Yoga class, I think I'd just fall over at the first asana... Tons of little annoying things to do. Meeting right now .,.

I am losing track of my days.

Today I am weird as ever.
I did this weirdass pattern in the neighborhood for multiple repeats.
It is like 120 floors.
I don't know if you can see it but there are like 4 lane divided roads on the periphery of my pattern.
I can't go on those kind of roads. I am too old and stupid for that kind of action.
So that is a picture of me riding around the block.
I see people that likes getting out and exercising.
They know that they ain't doing what I am doing. Heh, but there is still some camaraderie going on.
Heh, I went an seen Buddy yesterday. It was kind of cool. That little guy is getting more assertive physically and he is getting bigger. What do I got to do to direct that? It can be a problem for caregivers. I got to teach him how to stay lovable.
When he is with me I want that to be all about autonomy. I want his curiosity to motivate him. Ugh, there is constraints. We got to live within the confines of rules. But I want him to see what he wants to see. Why else would he want to walk or do anything for that matter.
Hey, am I spoiling him?

@Chinkiri Sorry you're having a bad time - when I was at work and had been working away, all I wanted to do when I got home was chill out in my PJs and unwind. I would have been seriously unimpressed to find a house full of people, and NO WAY would I have even considered cleaning up after anyone. Hope the left-over nibbles were at least worth eating! Hope you have a better day today.

Very windy here this morning, but we are lucky not to have the snow!

@Chinkiri, that would totally annoy me too. When I get home from a long stretch of work, I need quiet and rest. I can't bear clutter and a mess. It makes sense you at the snacks.

@craigo3154 beautiful vacation spot. Enjoy. I usually try to eat and track as normal on vacation . There is usually lots of activity and exercise. The exception is when we go oversea then I try the local specialties. I really over did it in Italy this spring but UAC got me back on track!
These last two days were fine with eating and tracking. Strength and cardio both.3 -

On vacation, I’d love to say that I stay within my calorie budget, but traditionally on vacations while I do stay very active, I usually go way overboard with food and drinks! I haven’t been on a vacation in a few years but plan on going somewhere this year - I’m hoping to stay accountable as I have goals and am doing so well! I’d hate to undo any of the work I’ve done!2 -

Even though, I am quite effected by the cold and my resulting asthma, I did work all day today. I'm staying home tomorrow to allow my voice and throat to rest. My asthma medications affect my vocal cords.
