This is my idea of a really good Saturday morning! What is your idea of a really good Saturday?

Well it isn't getting up at 4:50 and 6:20 with the young dog, then up for the day with him at 7:20! It's still dark! And it's raining! Don't know what's prompted his change in routine but I'm not impressed. To add insult to injury, after going out twice for his business, and having his breakfast, he is now fast asleep on the lounge floor. Too late for me to go back to bed as I'm wide awake. So much for sleep aiding weight loss - as this rate I'll be the size of a house by Spring! But I love him really... Hopefully everyone else is having a good day.6

Daughter walked with me to lunch (1.5km in 12 mins). She did well to keep up. Next time she wants to keep her pace, not mine .
Also roller skated for about 2 hours. I am much faster on hire roller skates than my daughter is on her regular skates. 10+ years of competitive ice skating gives excellent technique .
Aerial obstacle course tomorrow with daughter, her friend, my nephew and my sister.
@RangerRickL. Good Saturday morning for me is: Sleeping till I wake, good walk in fair weather, nice breakfast and time with family. (Like today ).

For anyone in the US, there is a new season of Blue Planet starting on BBC America today…
A really good Saturday for me is to get up early (not by choice @BadgerLamb236 I feel you!) to watch the English Premier League ⚽️, have breakfast with my husband and walk the dogs (in that order). The only difference a Saturday makes is there is football on the telly.
I’m lucky enough to start every day with a dog walk and breakfast with my husband. If the dog walk is a five miler at The Wetlands , I’m pretty much in hog heaven!

Exercise: Yes, 30 minute walk. Disappointed I didn't get to do a 'proper' walk, as my walking friend didn't turn up. Try for Yoga class tomorrow or swimmingpool...

My favourite aunt lives in Norwich. I used to spend every school holiday there as a child. Cromer and Mundsley were where we went a lot. And Yarmouth, for riding on the snails and hot doughnuts!

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, I ran the Niles Frigid 5k race, ( my idea of a great Saturday morning, even though it was icy!! ), and 90 minutes of weight lifting/strength training.

I am surprisingly 3 yesses today. Was expecting to go over calories after starting the day with a bigger than usual breakfast and having a potluck supper with friends including a delicious carrot cake for my husbands birthday. But between us 4 couples we have 14 kids 8 and under so needless to say, the cake slices were quite small!
Got out for a wonderful 5km walk this afternoon. Icy but beautiful.
A good Saturday definitely starts with sleeping in followed by coffee on the couch!6 -

A good Saturday for me is a family day. breakfast all together and something active. Tonight I got to take my 5 year old shopping, just the two of us, and it was so fun. She tried on so many clothes2 -
