MYOB vs concern

So, I have a small list of friends on MFP. Their diaries or losses all post on my home page. Anyway, there is this one girl (who I don't know personally) who has been losing a lot of weight. At first I would hit the like button to be supportive, but over the last month or so I've actually started worrying about her. She looks like an average size person in her profile pic, but she keeps losing weight. And she lists everything in her food diary- like even cinnamon. So it kind of looks like she's eating but she's listing herbs ect.
At this point I feel like she probably has an eating disorder. I'm really torn, because I know it isn't my business; especially since that pic could be old and I really don't know her circumstances. But another part of me feels like I can't in good conscious ignore what seem like obvious signs. I want to be supportive especially to people who are working to achieve their goals; but I feel like I'm cheering her on while she starves herself. Any advice?

How many calories a day is she eating, on average?

How fast does she appear to be losing weight?

Do you know what her current and/or goal weight is, and are those appropriate for her health?

Has she posted any status updates along the lines of feeling disgusted with herself, binging, purging, etc?

In other words, how worried do you really need to be?

If you do feel like you need to do something, send her a private message (don’t comment publicly). Congratulate her on her losses, and say that you noticed she seems to be losing quickly. Link her to this thread http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10569458/why-eating-too-little-calories-is-a-bad-idea/p1

I don't know her current or goal weights- so I wasn't sure if her weight loss was inappropriate. TBH, it must have been a phase a while ago. I had stopped looking at her diary because I was feeling somehow complicit. So today after posting I read back and she had been eating over 1200 cal/ day lately, so false alarm.

PM her regardless and just ask how she is doing, how here life has been and what she has been up to

I agree. Then you’ve reached out, even if you’re less concerned now.
