I got one for Christmas! Had a lot of trouble getting it to connect to anything, but it seems to have sorted itself out now. I'm looking forward to trying it in the pool, which is the main reason I wanted it. :-)

I’m a new user also, today is my second day. I’ve been spending most of it syncing to apps, my wireless Beats, and playing around with the clocks :D
So far everything is working properly. I’m trying to figure out the coach function. I also have the coach app, but prefer to use it via my Fitbit. If anyone has tips on coach, please share, thanks!

Haven't had the chance to play with the functions much yet, only taken it in the pool once and I forgot to tell it when I was done. Coach is one I'm interested in figuring out, too!

I got the ionic for the coach too, but also downloaded the coach app. I figured on most stuff, but struggling with adding music to the watch.

    Hi All,

Also just got an Ionic....bit sad that here in the UK the FitBit Pay function doesn't work with any of the major banks and that Spotify isn't supported so I'm still working on loading up some music on there.

Have been a member of both MFP and fitbit previously but decided to wipe the slates clean this year and start again.

I work on my laptop quite a lot so meeting my interim target of 8,000 steps is usually a bit of a struggle so would love to buddy up with others for mutual encouragement [and the occasional a bit of kicking up the backside where necessary]

Am pretty active and like cycling and swimming when I get the chance and also do the odd bit of kayaking [am a bit of a girly though and don't cycle or kayak when it's wet and raining outside].

Would love to hear from like-minded people who are genuine about wanting to lose weight or increase fitness

    Hi fellow Ionic owners,

I have my Surge changed into the Ionic about 2 months ago. The Surge was working well, however the wristband was peeling. I am very happy with the Ionic!

    Regards from The Netherlands,
    André

Loving the ionic! Makes tracking calories easy so as to know what you need to eat to stay nourished correctly. Love its features. Very happy indeed

Request sent! I'm not as physically active, but getting there. I completed my first challenge yesterday, and although I didn't win it, it got me really motivated to do better.

Does anyone have a favorite clockface? I’ve switched a few times, but still haven’t found one that I would stick with. All I’m interested is clock, heart, and steps. Any recommendations is greatly appreciated!

I use one of the original Fitbit ones, I think it's called stats, has all of the information I require and is light on system resources. I found when I tried a 3rd party face the Ionic became a bit laggy and battery life took a hit. It may have just been that face but I decided to just stick with what I know until some of the kinks are ironed out.

I need a clock face that shows seconds, so I can get patients' HR and RR, so that kind of limits me on options there. The one I chose has a line for weather, but at first it was always wrong and now it just doesn't display anything, just "loading..." perpetually. But, it's a great clock face that meets all my needs!

I'm hoping that they'll come up with more clock face options. I've been using the stats heavy ones and so far so good!

So I've had the Flex, Blaze, and Surge. I traded up and got the Ionic for Christmas and I love this thing! It's my favorite by far. I feel like it is more accurate than my Blaze, love the integrated GPS like the Surge, and so much more.

I'm www.fitbit.com/user/28WRJ4. Feel free to add me here and on there. I could use some folks to keep me motivated.

Open to MFP/Fitbit Invites. Had one of the first Fitbit models. My Blaze stopped taking a charge. I got the Ionic to replace it.

I use the "Simple Corners" clock face. It is pretty straight-forward in terms of stats (clock, HR, steps, battery level, etc). The thing I like about it is that you can customize the background, text and icon colors.

Thanks, I'll check that one out. I thought I found a great one by Trekkie, but after a week, I had to pay to use it :/
