Suggestion - start off SLOW ; they look easier than they really are.

Even reading this makes my thighs hurt! What's a squat jump? If it's what I am imagining there is no way I'm going to manage 10, let alone 70!0

This is going to kick my butt but I'm in. Day 7 will be brutal! lol

I looked at the squats. I was going to try interval training of 3 minutes cardio and 10 squats, etc. that I had seen in SELF. But really, I ended up dancing 35 minutes, at my own varying speed, which I haven't done for ages and which makes me feel my body and FEEL ALIVE. If I could incorporate that into this challenge, that would be progress.1

Squat jumps are what you think they are. You squat and then you push up through your heels and jump.0 -
After day three, it's probably a good idea to do this every other day. Your muscles need time to repair- which for most people they will need after a routine with 30 or more squat jumps. If you are sore the next day- take a break ( from squats anyway). Muscle recovery is necessary for building muscle and gaining strength.2

I added some squat jumps into my circuits this week. I missed them. Well not really, maybe I miss the results they give!1

And I added Bulgarian split squats and one leg Romanian deadlifts back this week and I miss neither BUT I do miss their results. Lol!!!0 -
