Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

You had some reason for joining the UAC. If you have been a long time participant, then you are achieving some new goal. Whatever your own personal goal, yesterday’s habits took you somewhere you do not wish to be. The UAC leads to health and vitality ( sorry, but wealth is not part of our package of promised treasures). Health and vitality are more important than wealth!
Don’t look back to yesterday’s bad habits. Act thoughtfully today and tomorrow will result in a new and healthier you!

Happy Saints Day @GrandmaJackie, Bonne Fête! It's Sainte Jacqueline today! Have a great day!3

Feb 7th and 8th - both pass days.
7th I ended up working late the. Meeting an old friend for a few drinks - nothing crazy but went over calories a little.
8th - traveling for 6 hours and eating on the go left me over calories and no time for a run ... to make up for it, I am traveling g for a running event. On the 10th I’ll be doing a 24km section of a relay race ... that should make up for the 2 pass days!3 -
So my knee is acting up today and I had to get a taxi from the station instead of the 20-25 minute walk. I don't want to use a pass day on my bad knee or I'll miss half the month - any suggestions for getting 20 minutes of exercise given I will be sat at a desk all day and will be a dinner guest tonight so won't have time for much. Maybe something I can do at my desk (not sure I can count my knee physio exercises).
All suggestions welcome!2 -

My 95 year-old Mum does armchair gymnastics. Google it, there's bound to be something on YouTube ...4 -
I'll check it out - do I require an armchair?

My Mum and her mates just sit on those plastic general purpose chairs, swing their arms above their heads, left, right, backwards, dip down to touch their toes ... You can probably work out a routine yourself. Just don't fall off the chair .,. Post a video!2

If knee is bad for a longer period, there are lots of upper body exercices with dumbbells but I doubt you have some in your handbag ...1

I travel most days for work with two laptops plus my overnight clothes and stuff, my bag is often the weight of a dumbbell!!! I try stay in a hotel with a pool when I can and do some physio and light swimming when I can, it's something I can do even when it's bad.2

Slighly faster today on dusk. Still warm night and more swam home than walked.
Eye test today for me and my daughter. My daughter has 20/20 vision and no problems. My eyes are on slightly worse than last year (measured more hyperopic), but still as healthy.
More of my amazing wife's ice-cream tonight . Peppermint choc chip. To me it's as good (if not better) than Häagen-Dazs.
@RangerRickL. The road I changed to nine months ago (when I started UAC) is still taking me where I want to go. Just need to take care to stay on it as it is easy to get distracted and wander off the path.

@craigo3154 Care to share that ice cream recipe? My husband's favorite ice cream flavor is peppermint stick. His 2nd choice would be mint chocolate chip...so I have no doubt he would love a homemade version!0 -

My neighbour is a disabled Vet. He took in a puppy that another neighbour got at Christmas but decided they didn’t want. I took her on a 5 mile hike today, her first ever hike. I was honoured and privileged he trusts me enough to take her. She did wonderful, no pulling, no prey drive, no going after bicycles, strollers or runners. She’s a doll. Here she is…

I'm going to count today as a pass day even though I did a good whack of exercise moving more of yesterday's snow around, and logged, and was theoretically within calories. I think I was over and had beer for the first time in quite a while. It feels over and I am not sure of the amount.
It's beautiful February in Quebec though! Loving the snow and cold lit up by brilliant sun.4 -

Yes x3. Today was my rest day from strength training. Lots of walking while running errands and cleaning my house (nothing like the in laws coming for the weekend to make me get down on my knees to scrub my floors!) Did a 30 minute yoga/deep stretch video this evening. It felt so good on all my sore muscles. Well under calories today.2

Good evening everyone. Love reading everyone's post and following your journeys. @JaqK23_ on bad knee days I can usually still use my stationary exercise bike without a lot of tension. Exercises in the pool feels awesome but isn't always feasible. I now have a stationary bike here for when I need to get my exercise in for the day. @RangerRickL so many yesterdays, focussing on them will only hinder my progress for sure. Good news is that the doctor signed off for me to start a gradual return to work on Feb. 19th. I have been off for 1 year and 4 months, so a little nervous as well as excited. It has been a long time coming but back surgery and knee surgery(for now hopefully) is behind me and it is time to focus on re conditioning. They are hoping the clean up and repair on my knee will give me a few more years before they replace it. Posture is huge! It is like learning to walk and stand straight all over again, but at least I CAN NOW!
exercise yes 45 minutes pool exercises
