Today, Monday, is a travel day. I’ll be tracking and doing exercise walking in the airports

Yes x 3 managed to do Pilates without too much problem, but had to skip the side-planks as put too much pressure on my injured foot (plus I don't like them anyway).4

I’m totally breaking rules coming back after more than three days, but I think you’re a forgiving bunch. To be accountable, this month I’ve tracked some and not exercised until today. I’ve eaten a lot of soup; I’ve had bronchitis. Today:

3 big yeses today - for exercise I was all set to do my new strength workout. TRX mat kettlebells all ready to go. But the temperature sneaked over freezing during the night and a mountain of snow slid off the roof, landing just outside my back door on the deck. Then by morning it froze again. My workout morphed into moving a mountain of really heavy frozen stuff. It took well over 2 hours. (Did I say I liked winter?) Then I went on a good walk with a friend. I'll sure be sore tomorrow!

Yes x 3. Did the usual 30 minute indoor exercise video...but finally got outside for 40 minutes of a chilly walk. Was great to have the sun actually shine for a change...but the warmer temps expected next week will be a positive change in the right direction!

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Apparently, if I were to take into account the calories burned today, I'd have enough room for another full day of calories intake. I'll just stick to the original plan and stay under!

Nope, not today. I tracked and came in under, but I cannot exercise. I'm so sore from yesterday's workout. My legs are stiff. I didn't think it was that challenging but boy was I wrong. I'm out of the winner's circle this month but not out of the game.3

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 60 minutes shoulder rehab exercises, and 60 minutes weight lifting in the morning, and a 60 minute trail run/walk in the evening with some running club friends. Thankful for YAKTRAX because it was snowy and icy on the trail!

This morning it was -42 with the windchill but tomorrow’s forecast is calling for 0 degrees by the afternoon.. it’s going to feel like summer! I can’t wait to get outside again.4

It’s a reentry to Chicago and work day.
I had a wonderful 2+ weeks in Phoenix!
Nonetheless, I am ready to be back to work. I enjoy my very creative and interesting work.
Exercise: intentional brisk walking in the airport terminals. More than 25 minutes
Calories: skimpy breakfast and lunch but a 4 ounce steak at supper! Under by nice margin
