Thanks for the well wishes everyone! The "storm" so far has just been a bit of rain, and the wind is starting to pick up... very normal for where I live! I was able to run to work this morning, and with the extra calories, felt like I could eat a proper amount today!
Thrown a bit off guard, as my 18month nieces were here for dinner... which was fish and chips; but luckily I'd had a late lunch with lots of vegetables, so managed to control myself on the chips.
Thought I was going to have to use a pass, but thanks to my run I can even afford a post-niece whiskey! (But first to pick up all the toys!)
So I am super stoked to report... YES x 3! (Sorry @rangerRickL I bet you to being the first to post in the thread today! Looking forward to see what photos you post )5 -

Walked to the shops while the net was down. Shops are 150m lower elevation than my home. (Hilly area).

Walked for an hour with my friends this morning and tried yoga class for the first time with another group of friends. I was not too sure about it at the beginning, but really enjoyed it half way through.

Yes x 3 for me as well. DH (Jim) and I went for two walks in the village today...one 70 minute walk this morning (few hills) and another 45 min this evening (level terrain). So nice with upper 60's - 70 temps to walk outside without having to bundle up. Also tried an online video for strengthening biceps, triceps, etc. Not really enthused about the weights although I did use some ULTRA LIGHT weights. Logging off for tonight with still lots of calories left for an evening snack.2

Did the barn chores for an hour and had the usual trek down and up the hill to get out and back. Icy! The wonderful crampons you can stretch over your boots earned their keep today.3 -

This was a fun day at the office. I have a wonderful team at the office. I am the oldest person in my law firm. The next oldest lawyer is my daughter, Diana. We try to live by the Golden Rule and we get many opportunities to work with great people. Our focus in on persons between the ages of 50 (pre-retirement) to 115 (no longer alive). It may sound boring but it is not! Its the human drama of life; love; disappointment; joy; frustration; satisfaction; you name it...we have seen most everything.

Yes x3 but barely! Back in 2006 I spent a bit of time in Kenya and loooooved the chapati. For some reason I have never tried to make it at home! Until today. Ooooh yum. I don’t normal use exercise as a way to eat more or make up for eating too much. But I didn’t want to have to take pass #3 yet so I did body weight cardio exercises while watching a show this evening instead of just sitting on the couch.5

A regular dog walk this morning.
My beloved Wetlands is on fire tonight. The fire is at Duck Creek and it’s a part of the Wetlands I don’t usually frequent. Unsavoury things happen there all the time and fires are not unusual. The news said about 10 acres was burned. Boohoo3 -
