We finished the trial with a chance to place but no placement. Interestingly enough, I was OK with the judging and placements. It was a very competitive field. So many really good dogs and handlers.
Dennis, make sure you get everyone's good side.

Open House today: 1-4p. Praying today is the day! There is another open house up the street priced nearly $90k below us -so the strategy could go for or against us.... Rainy/gloomy too - ugh!

Connie and I spent most of yesterday in meetings with MADD. The regional director from Dallas was up, and we were doing strategy planning for 2018 and 2019. I am going to spend more time with law enforcement recognition, check lanes, and roll calls. I can't wait! I will be working with a great law enforcement hero from Lawrence. He and I get along great, and he is a runner. I'm hoping that we can pull together some great ideas to recognize our law enforcement heros this year.

Good Morning BBB.
One meeting this morning and then Jack and I are going to go and hang out with Tom while he pinstripes at the local Harley Davidson dealership - Black Widow. Jack is quite the draw and when people see Tom at work they are mesmerized and it creates a buzz and that creates business. Love this stuff! Not that Tom needs us since he is getting quite a name for himself in SW Florida.
Tomorrow is last beach day and a couple loose ends to tie up. Tuesday we will ready the RV for storage and organize. Wednesday we trek north. February went way too fast!
WOW - I had to catch up on all that has been going on with our BBBers. Busy group!

Lee - I totally get where you are coming from with your description of how the trial came out.

Good morning BBB.
It's raining and 40 degrees outside. That's a relief afterf the week of ice and snow we have had. Maybe we'll see those buried crocus blossoms again. Heard a report on TV that the cherry blossoms on the U of W campus in Seattle, are forecast to open up on March 19. Really looking forward to spring.
Had a fun time celebrating DDIL's birthday, yesterday. The cake was baked by DGD Elsie, age 4 1/2. She did a great job, with just a little help from her Aunt. Talented little girl.

We are on the market for a travel rv to park at my lake lot I bought when I was married. Long story short is I lost it in the divorce and my two boys just got it back into their names last month, like it should have been when my X passed away 10 yrs ago. Sometimes things really do come full circle and wrongs get righted.

Busy day. Cleaned house, late church,lunch out Ds2 hit a pothole last night up north. We had to drop everything and head up there Ruined a 1000 wheel and tire. Err. He got a police report. Hopefully the state will reimburse him
Not much else to report.

Lou, I too have been using spreadsheets today. Ugh. Taxes are really shaping up!!

Open House went well! LOTs of foot traffic! Four serious buyers.
Repeat in two weeks if we don't yield a contract.
So much for those federal highway funds keeping us from such calamities! Sucks!

Hi all...apparently I forgot to check in this morning.
We did taxes today...ended up owing a ton but less than Ron originally figured...apparently when the W2's from my two different employers pulled over it didn't show I had health care coverage so once we manually inputted it the number was better.
Camper show was a bust. I was hoping to get some creative storage ideas for our van conversion but I didn't really get that. Many of the units they brought were huge and much more house-like that we are thinking. Still a fun day.0
