Exercised?: Yes. Walk 6km in 47 mins (hills).

Sightly lower pace. Knee still stiff but feels as though it is improving.
Early flight interstate tomorrow.
I find failure is always an option - It what you do when you fail that is most important.
I'm trying for being a pro at my own personal health management. An amateur is one that practices until they succeed. A pro is someone who practices till they seldom fail. I am not to pro level yet

Heh, I shouldn't be messing with this group. It ain't like I am adhering to the charter.
But where else am I going to go to boast when I get a raft of PR's?
There is people on here that knows me and they know my Little Buddy.
He is happy. I keep that rascal happy.
I go out an exercise but I always save energy for Little Buddy.
He still ain't got the balance necessary for walking. Part of me says I don't care. All I want to know is that he is happy. I must be getting old. Lunch with Buddy, the high point of my life.
I don't know what to say about climbing. I got my heart up to 96%. Pretty sure my cardiologist doesn't want me to do that. But it ain't like I held it there for any significant duration.
February, not a good exercise month for me. Cold and I weaseled. But I beat last Feb in terms of climbing because last Feb I went to spin class instead of climbing outside.
So I didn't really have a record month but I am kind of on track for beating my last year's climb.
I gotta drink less beer. It is hard to not drink beer after satisfying climbs with a raft of PR's
Anyway, I hope I am not overbearing on you guys. It ain't like I ain't an old guy. That is what I say

Almost there! Yes x 3 today - lots of exercise so it was possible to have apple crisp and even a bit extra. I'll make it to the winner's circle unless I go nuts tomorrow. It has been great tracking with all of you there as inspiration and conscience. Thanks. ☺4

Wrapping up my day early today. I am taking the red eye to Hilton Head in SC. My bestie is going to be there and we’re getting to spend 4 days chilling and milling and seeing what mischief we can get up to.
I haven’t seen her for 7 months so I’m excited. There will be long walks on the beach, coffee and I’m not sure what else, but I can tell you this……Winners Circle…… I’m coming for you in March!

So far, I've got 14 names for the Winner's Circle. Tomorrow, before I post the names, I'll check back here to today's posts to see if someone signing in after me has raised their hand and shouted, "Wait for me...I'm in the Winner's Circle too!" I always read the past days posts to see what was written after I posted my daily report.

Made it to the Winner's Circle for February with a yes x 3 for me today. Double duty on exercises today with both a one hour outside walk and another 30 minutes of Gilad inside. That's not counting the struggle DH, Jim, and I encountered getting our "vamper" together today for an impromptu road trip. I'm not always a "high maintenance" gal; so you should have seen us getting the plywood bed board and mattress down the stairs and into the van for our "home away from home" bedroom! Yep...we're camping, again, in our regular size passenger van for a trip to FL with State Parks along the way. We are a "redneck couple" sometimes when it comes to travel. See photo below of DH and our "vamper" in Glacier National Park. We were away for 25 nights, 23 of which we spent in the "vamper."
Tomorrow 2/28 will be an intentional pass day for me. Will be joining UAC in March for the first couple of days...and then, again, the end of the month. I won't be in the winner's circle in March due to our pending travel...but I know I can count on your support when we get back. A shout out to everyone who persevered for the month, even if the winner's circle was not attainable this month. Give it your best next month! Kindest regards.5 -

Yes x3. Lower body strength. Slowly slowly the weight is getting heavier on my squats. I’m currently taking typhoid vaccination pills for an upcoming trip so it really reduces my evening snacking, putting me comfortably under calories (even with the homemade gourmet donut this afternoon)3

@w8goal4life Enjoy your March 'vamper' trip. You have taught me a new term, "vamper." I so appreciate seeing your friendly and encouraging posts every day. Even though, you will be traveling, when you can, please drop in to the March group and keep us in your 'loop." You will have lots of interesting things to share and pictures to post.
