Hello Spring! We're celebrating the meteorological arrival of Spring in the UK with a fair bit of snow (yet more forecast for the 1st of March).
On Sunday I'll be flying out to warmer climes for some much needed sunshine . The downside upside is that it will be all inclusive sunshine, so I hope I am able to limit myself somewhat. I'll be stocking up on gym visits between now and Sunday.

I looked back at the year this morning and I can't believe I've already lost about 10 pounds. I've been feeling so great lately and it's such motivation to stick with it for the long run.

Kind of frustrated with my end of month weight. Been trying to stick to 1,200 while also doing yoga, body weight workouts, and biking. I didn't get a scale til about mid Feb so I don't know what I started with in the beginning but I really thought I'd be at 135 by now It's only a couple of pounds but it's still super frustrating to me. I do think my stomach fat is lessening along with a little in my thighs. I think I might try upping to 1,300 as well. 1,200 is so hard some days.4 -
First time joining this thread! Looking to loose weight and get stronger esp. in my upper body. Just joined a gym for the first time ever and started weight lifting/work outs with a personal trainer. My goal right now is to do one pull-up (something I've never been able to do)

After taking six weeks off due to an ankle sprain I’m finally back to Barre class! I started again in February and feel fantastic. I go 3x week and plan to get back to hiking at least an hour a week now that spring is almost here. I am also back to intermittent Fasting 16/8– I’m hoping that this will budge those last 6lbs clinging to dear life on my midsection. And if not, well at least I feel great.4 -

Hey first time posting in an accountability group! For the last two years I've pretty much plateaued at not my goal weight but an acceptably-fluffy-looking-in-a-bikini one... but when I had my body composition done for the first time in February I was actually shocked- I only have 30lbs of lean dry muscle. Not good for my long term health and metabolism as I have an autoimmune condition that destroys my muscle mass at a faster rate than average.
February was spent upping my protein intake and March will be all about finding a strength training regime that I can be consistent with. (My cardio is already on point).
Also I just joined a dietbet for the first time so let me know if anyone wants an invite! It is technically keto but I'm not doing keto hahaha.5 -

Hello MFP Ladies!
I joined this group almost 9 months ago now, and I experienced tremendous success losing over 25lbs. I am currently happy with my weight, comfortable in my clothes, and feeling good about myself. I recently fit into a size 4 in jeans which absolutely stunned me (i'm really more comfortable in a size 6).
I have been MIA from this discussion the last few months because of graduate school and a new relationship have been occupying the majority of my time. I am VERY happy in a new relationship, and I want to make sure that I am continuing to check in with myself so I can be the best and most healthy partner possible. I've been waiting for March 1 to be able to join one of these accountability groups. I'm eating at maintenance because I'm trying to recomp, I'm only doing bf% tests once a month so my updates will hopefully maintain the same weight and at the end of the month I'll be able to share the new bf% results. A year and a half ago my bf% was 15.8% I've moved up pretty significantly and am working to bring it back down.

@2tall4thisworld - Good on you for taking control even in the happy bliss stage, I hate to admit it but I know a good deal of my increased bf% was due to letting myself get way too wrapped up and comfortable in the newlywed life that I started skipping workouts in favor of more morning cuddle time.5 -

This is a first for me but I am excited to see everyone's progress and share my own in a forum where we all have similar goals!
I started out this year feeling out of shape, overweight, and generally unhappy about my appearance and health. Towards the end of 2017, I was not fitting into my clothes, eating out of boredom, and did not have the energy to work out, or would make excuses not to. I decided to make a New Years (slightly cliché) resolution to start fresh this year (new year, new me!). Since the beginning of the year, I've implemented cardio work outs 5-6 days a week, and am trying to keep my daily calorie intake between 1200-1400 calories. I lost 6 lbs in January and about 3.5 lbs in February. Next step is incorporating weights into the routine, because I think I am beginning to hit a plateau. I would love some advise in that respect. Overall, I am about a third of the way to my goal and am trying to meet my ultimate goal in time for summer!7 -

Hello!
I've fallen off the wagon last week. Last weekend was crazy busy at my evening job, and this week has been so stressful at my day job, but all that's over now! We bought groceries the other day so I have everything I need to meal prep on Saturday, which is a real key to success for me.
I did meet my February goal although I'm currently in a upward trend. I feel like a little bit of that may be actual gain, but most of it is water, bloat, and sodium. It was fun for a day or 2 to not focus on what I'm eating and just eat whatever, but I'm definitely over it now. Starting to feel a little gross and really missing fresh food. I've developed a really bad chocolate habit in the last little while so first step is to kick the vending machine habit.
Anyways, tomorrow's a new day and it's a new month. Have a great Friday everyone!!6 -

I'd love to say I sweated, disciplined and powered off that weight, but between a family member's hospitalization and a cold, it came off on its own!

March goal: maintain or lose while losing BF.
Plan for March:- be caferul with "I eat this today and just eat less tomorrow" mindset. I've been eating close to maintenance recently, and from maintenance to overeating there's just one small step
- start recomping, my scale readings tell me I'm becoming skinny fat even though I look different than those 30% BF reference pictures
- look into bodyweight exercises and go running now that the weather is not an excuse anymore
