Every Sunday my husband I have a morning date. Fancy coffees and then shopping.

Oh dear. Every Sunday morning I clean out my chickens, turkeys and ducks and fill up their ponds whilst my husband ‘poo picks’ after the Shetland pony and dogs. Can this be classed as a date?!

We've had lots of spring here. In fact I was super excited yesterday when we got snow! and a snow day at work! Back to cold for now. My daffodils and hyacinths are blooming and other bulbs are bulbing :) I also ordered seed potatoes this weekend for my first try at gardening in recent history! I'm excited to see if this works.

I would love a veggie garden. Our neighbor won't allow it.

Here in PA yesterday was 80! It was what I needed. Lady I I were out most of the day. Today we are back to 40 and rain. My tulips are so confused.

Small town woes (& victories) - I was in line at Safeway today & had a bag of alternative cheese. The guy in front of me made a comment about Daiya (where it was) and then asked if I'd tried cashew cheese. I told him I had & that I also like the potato/carrot cheese. It was like an instant bonding moment. I think we were both just so excited to find someone else in our area that ate this way. Started off my day great! This is what happens when you live in a tiny, meat-centered community.

Here's the link. This website also has the best fat free vegan gravy I've ever had - actually the best gravy ever, vegan or non. http://www.brandnewvegan.com/recipes/dips-sauces-and-gravy/amazing-vegan-cheese-sauce

Feeling sad, hurt, disapponted. My daughter is home for the weekend. She just showed me her new inside mouth tattoo. It says "*uck it" and she is vaping. Both we have descussed and told her we are not happy about. Why do kids do such dumb things?
