Someone slap me upside the head for the messed up bariatric thinking.
I took time off from the gym to heal from an injury and recurring cold. Bit of a weight gain (Eight pounds) I know I can get it back down. My messed up bariatric brain sees myself as large again.
I know this feeling will pass.
Ok, rant over.

A large portion of it is probably water weight. 8lbs is no big deal. You will have it off again in no time!1

Ive been dealing with a flare up in my joint condition since summer and feeling like im a huge failure (emphasis on the HUGE) ive honestly been worrying that im as fat as ever (ummmm i cant have gained 150lb without the scale noticing surely)
But someone asked me for carrying pictures, one from now and one from 18 months ago and honestly im not as bad as i percieved2 -
Am sure you will have it off in no time and Line others have said previously it’s likely a lot of water weight. I do like the idea of carrying pictures with you to remind you of how far you’ve come!2

I don't think it's messed up thinking, I believe it's normal thinking after weight loss surgery. Pat yourself on the back at least you've analyzed why you gained the weight and you're taking control of it. I know people who had the surgery and have gained 30-40 pounds and state they don't know why or don't want to acknowledge the why. You're in control and control is a good thing.5

Thanks everyone..
up 13 as of today. I need to push my excuses for my food choices away. I'm justifying eating because I'm not as active and board out of my mind.
