    Wednesday check-in: so, today I prepared my lunch box very carefully. I had:

    Breakfast: strawberries with 1 banana, Activia yogurt, dry raisins and walnuts
    Lunch: salad with chicken breast, a few black olives. Later in the afternoon, I'll have a cup of sautées mushrooms with 1 tablespoon of homemade zacusca and 70 gr of chicken breast.

    I'm having lots of lemon water. Somehow, I just discovered this and love it! It tastes so much better than the "regular" water.

    I am also working on increasing my protein intake so I feel less hungry during the day.

    Fitness wise, I am slowly intensifying my exercise levels. I used to sit at my desk all day long; now, I stop taking the elevator and going up the stairs. It's hard, but I just have to keep on going. Eventually, I will be able to walk up the stairs to the 24th floor in my building. :#

    Good morning,

    How are you doing... diet wise? :) Any ups and downs you encountered lately?

    Yesterday afternoon, I went to the new grocery store that just opened in our town - Adonis - and I had to buy some French pastries. I just had to. :/ Look at these: http://groupeadonis.ca/CMS/index.php/en/56-patisserie/patisserie-francaise How can one resist?... As they say, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. :s

    Anyway, when I got home, I made sure I didn't overeat during the supper because I wanted to taste the above goodies. I just had some "zacusca", a little bit of white beans spread and half of oven cooked chicken breast. Very healthy supper.
    Luckily for me, when I got to the pastries' part... I did not like them too much. They were OK, but not insanely delicious as I thought they would be. Hence, I only had 2-3 bites of these and I put them back in the fridge.

    Today is a new day and I'm going to make better food choices.
