Yes x3. HIIT and core workout.
NSV is that I was able to deadlift my body weight this week. It’s not that impressive for a deadlift but I’m slowly regaining strength and lifting heavier.6 -
Nope nope but I tracked it all. Pass #1. An unexpected day of yuck.
@ trimi1104. Why is the woo considered a negative here? All 5 options seem positive to me I’m sure the serial wooer is encouraging you or rather ... was. You have my promise to never woo you.
@brangisco. I had a cry day too and I also keep my paper goods in the garage. I hope you had a good rest.5 -
Exercise: yes, walked
Tracked: yes
Calories: yes
Love reading the NSVs!! Mine is from last weekend when I went shoe shopping.... Apparently my feet have even lost weight. I had noticed that they look bonier and more slim but was amazed to find that they look good in certain styles that were always too narrow for me. I wasn't 100% sold in the fact that they were smaller until I tried on a pair of my own sandals from last year that I barely wore cause they were too tight.... Tried them on and the are much looser now!5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?Yes
So, I'm out of the "Winner's Circle" and I was initially pretty pissed. Then I was just going to stop posting my efforts. The day went downhill from pretty much the moment I got downstairs this morning. .... Finished donut with a tall glass of cold milk. Decided to track everything and realized I wasn't horribly over my budget. Then I decided to write all this as a "Non-Scale Victory" because I realize that I let someone else's bad day and pissy treatment of me influence my behavior - and I crammed the worst thing I could think of down my throat. AND IT DIDN'T EVEN TASTE THAT GOOD! When I'm done here I'm going to sit and read in my sunroom and watch the sunset. Then I'm going to take a long, hot bath. Then I'm going to bed. We'll see what tomorrow holds. NAMASTE...LOL!
@brangisco. Sounds like a "train wreck" of a day. Glad you decided to be good to yourself at the end of the day.
The best part is that it sounds like got some positives and some self realisations out of it. This is where growth really starts..... By identifying problems. Once identified, way to remedy can be worked on.
Happy too that you did some activity and you did track.
“Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet.”
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
Take tomorrow as a new day land learn from yesterday. However, do not try compensate for the mistakes of yesterday (they are gone and cannot be changed). Just do the best you can each day learning from yesterday.3 -
Nsv will have to move a button on a pair of work trousers, much too loose now!7

My non scale victory is that I am off the scale! That is really a miracle for me as I weighed every day and was always stressing over it. I am working on the process of the journey and the journey being the goal. That is helping me to understand that exercise and eating well are a life time goal. I have not been in the winners circle yet and I have had a melt down for a few days, but that is life and living. If I look at it all as a journey that is a process, it is much better for my perspectives on food and the eating of it...more for fuel that anything else.
I have planned rest days in my coaching plan and since I race at age 61 I need a day here or there....so being in the winners circle is not my end result. My end result is being accountable.
And as such......I swam 550m yesterday
I tracked my meals and ate what I tracked!
Today (Friday) for lunch, a friend and I are going out to eat for Korean BBQ. So I will have to figure out how to track what I ate.5 -
Message to the serial wooer: stop it. Woo is actually negative here. If it was a kudos to you I don't care, just stop serially wooing everyone on here.
I never figured "woo" to be derogatory. But I guess it ain't none of my business.
I just see it between "like" and "hug" and don't figure there can be anything bad in that spectrum. Heh. Maybe you are coming from a harsher place than what I am used to.
(I gave you a "woo." Hope that don't hurt too much.)4 -
Always love reading the posts on the mid month NSV day! You're all doing brilliantly!4
