A question regarding IF for my clarity.

I'm fairly new to dieting and Keto specifically, and have had slow but steady fat loss since I started about 8 weeks ago.
I have never been one for lots of carbs or sugary things, so sticking to my 20g carb limit has been fairly successful. I have maintained 20-30g carb limits most days, and never been over 50g.
I also try to stick to my protein macro, but this is a bit more challenging, as I'm inclined to snack on proteins such as jerky, salami etc etc ...
I have also set myself a large deficit of about 25% and aim for 1200-1400 KCal/ day

I have my last meal between 6-7pm, and then a black coffee, and just liquids after that.
I just don't feel hungry in the mornings, skip breakfast, and do not eat anything until about 12-1pm, which is basically a 16:8 IF, which I complete 5 days a week.

My question is:

If I skip a meal most days, do I then eat the remaining meals to make up the Cal, or do I just aim to satisfy my daily carb & protein macros? My preference is for the latter, and is what I have been trying to aim for. The only issue for me is that on some days my calorie count is less than 1000
( I have left my diary open for viewing if you'd like to give me some constructive feedback), and I wonder if I need to lose sleep over this dilemma.

I also do intensive 16kg kettelebell exercises about 3-4 times a week, but dont eat or count the exercise calories, so my deficit may be more than I think they are.

From my understanding if I maintain my protein requirements, then all should be well, even if I dont stick to my KCAl count for the day.

Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve been keto for two years and your calories sound way too low. I stalled for six months after the first 3 because I was eating 1200 or less calories a day. I bumped it up to maintenance calories for about 3-4 days, then aimed to be around 1400/day and started losing again. If you have Facebook, a really amazon group to join is Ketogains. They have many people who have been doing keto for years. Some as many as 20. The group is also keto specialists/fitness instructors. I’d repost this in there to get lots of more in depth answers... and there will be lots. It’s a big group. Hope that helps a little :)

Thanks for that. I have done some further reading, and think I have it all wrong. I will up my calories, but stick to my macros and see if things improve.
