This evening, I'll fly from Chicago to Phoenix. I'll get there at midnight, Chicago time. Nonetheless, I'll be seeing my California daughter, Catherine and her husband, Brad. They will be visiting for a couple of days. This weekend, we will accompany our 9 year old Chicago area grandson and his step-dad to the last Spring Training game for the Chicago Cubs baseball team. I'm not much of a fan, but this game should be fun.

Slower pace, but longer walk than normal. A little tired after yesterday's 5km PB.
Not much else to report today.4 -

Yes x 3, which is not what I was expecting from today. I woke up sick and was struggling to figure out what to eat. I told myself I could eat anything I wanted and I wouldn't worry about logging or counting, since I knew I wasn't going to be getting my exercise in.
So I ate a tiny breakfast. Bleh. Then I started to get hungry. Then I got REALLY hungry and ate a huge lunch full of comfort food.
Then I got curious and I logged everything. Then I saw that what I consider a huge lunch isn't that huge now. So I ate a reasonable dinner. And then I exercised.
Unexpected success!
I still don't feel great, but I didn't use a pass day. Woot!
My husband and I are leaving on a vacation this weekend that will take us to several baseball parks for the start of the MLB season. We're both huge fans!7 -
I’m sitting in the airport waiting for a late evening flight. All food has been logged and lots of airport terminal walking.
Yes x 3. I’m logging in via phone

Happy travels to you @RangerRickL.
Feeling the muscles that received a lack of exercise for the past 2 weeks. I should know better...but hey, at least it's a yes X 3 today for me! Again, focused on abs, arms and cardio today.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, one of the fitness centers I belong to ( I'm a member of 3. lol ) opened a brand new state of the art facility this week. Machines are the smoothest I've ever used. So, 60 minutes cardio and 60 minutes weight machines.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes

@RangerRickL welcome back! Lots of Cub fans out here.
Pass day 2. Logged & under but couldn’t get to the exercise portion of my day. Migraine & work did me in.1 -
Yes x 3, including having lunch out prior to doing the weekly shop (such fun). Had grilled fish with salad and frites, but gave well over half the frites to my husband, who was enjoying a burger with bacon. He didn't get a look in on my nice crisp white wine though! Commiserations to all who are suffering and hope you feel better soon. Safe travels to all on the road, or in the air.2

3 No's today.
But I did finally get a ton of stuff done in my home office that desperately needed doing and I finally slept better last night than the previous 2 nights. (i.e. made sure the cat didn't sleep as much during the day so she wouldn't wake me up during the night!)2 -
Yes ×3. It was raining last night so I walked around the house for 20 min.1

I probably shouldn't tell you guys how barbaric I get. But I bought this pear before it was ripe so I left it in my car for a couple of days thinking I would eat it when it was ripe. Well I forgot about it and it got too ripe.
So I go up to my trailhead parking place and am getting my bike off of the roof. Heh, the wild horses are there. I am all like, I bet I could get a wild horse to eat this pear.
Sure enough, horse ate that pear. Pretty cool. Yep there still are wild horses. It is not like they will run from you or bite you or anything. It is just that they have been running free for many generations. I like them. I guess they like me, as long as I have a nice ripe pear.
Went bike riding for a couple of hours afterwards. Got 1600 or so of climb.
Nearly 14,000 of climb for March. I keep thinking I can get a month of 1000 per day average. That ain't happening. Oh well.
It is still cold in that dang canyon. I shoulda took pictures of icicles. Pretty sure people have seen enough of that though.
