Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

In the United States, today is the last day to send in one’s annual income tax forms & any money owed. This is not a celebration for most people except those who overpaid and will receive a refund of that overpaid amount.
Accountants will celebrate the end of the annual crush of work.
Have a happy day wherever you are!
P.S. IRS means Internal Revenue Service which is the federal governmental bureaucracy in charge of tax collection and enforcement1 -

I eat chocolate almost every day - definitely every work-day. Dark (85%), 4 squares. I am lucky to afford it financially, and in my calorie "budget". It's a small pleasure which I very much appreciate.
Had a catch up with a friend ... at the pub... between work and gym. I thought it was going to take a LOT of willpower to have non-alcoholic drink, and make sure I went to the gym... but it actually went very smoothly and I didn't even think twice about it. Pretty proud of myself for that win today.
Yes x 3

Todays walk was before dusk (yay).
New cat (Cleopatra - Cleo for short) and older cat (Fi) have not met. Cleo in a cat carrier while Fi was free to roam the house. Hissing by Fi, but no real aggression .... more fear of the new cat. Cleo seemed not too concerned, not aggressive and not cowering, just curious. I am not a feline behavioural expert, but I think we they should be able to get them to interact without cages by the end of the week. Hopefully they can be friends.

NSV today was purchase of a brand new rice cooker at a thrift shop for all of $4.50. There's nothing I like better than a bargain. The new rice cooker came with a steamer tray so I can prepare steamed vegetables to go with the rice of the day. Should be a healthy choice for maintenance! First time, ever, using a rice cooker in my 45 years of marriage. I've had lots of practice with a pressure cooker, though - not the newer electronic versions...but the older versions, which IMHO, are more reliable and not subject to failed electrical components. Thought the rice cooker would also be a valuable small appliance to take on our next camping trip!2 -
3x yes for the day. I went to a running class today. It was fun to run with other people. It's a good motivation when you're getting your butt kicked to work harder!2

This month has not gone as planned so far. I have a project that I am working on that has me away form home for multiple days at a time that is making it difficult to stay on point. Additionall this project is not without stress so much harder to plan meals and exercise. However I am determined to get back on track. I feel so much better when I exercise.
My short term goal is to finish this month without a pass to get back on track (in more ways than one).2 -
